Combinations - Ayahuasca- combination problems ?

Swim is planning to brew some Ayahuasca using Banisteriopsis caapi and Psychotria viridis. Swim was wondering, is it possible to use MDMA as an MAOI instead of Banisteriopsis caapi? If so, how much would be required per 50g of viridis, and would substituting the caapi with mdma result in less nausea?

Also, would there be any problems combining Ayahuasca (with or without MDMA) with any of the following, or combining any of the following with the following:

ranitidine (to reduce nausea)
Loperamide (to reduce diarrhea)
Ketamine (to increase wierdness)
propranolol (as a preventative measure against anxiety)
Cannabis (before and after)
LSD (in case the plant material is weak)

MDMA isn't a MAOI, so that will not work. Swiy should be very careful with combining MAOI with substances especially MDMA which can be a dangerous combination.

Ayahuasca + LSD + Cannabis is okay. Cannabis will counter nausea so you could drop ranitidine. The whole purging thing with ayahuasca is a part of it... a part Swim wouldn't try to avoid.

Also if one expects to have anxiety in his trip why go all the way with so much substances? Swiy says he needs something for preventing anxiety, why not drop the ketamine?

I don't expect to, but it would be nice to have a bit of security just in case. I personally find that Ketamine reduces the intensity of psychedelic trips. but you have a point.

Swiy has a point when he says that he wants something for security. But wouldn't it be better to only take when its really needed, or was this the plan all along?

If swiy finds trough his experiences that Ketamine reduces intensity than forget what swim said. Swim finds the case to be different, but ey thats just personal.

propranolol is a pretty weak anxiolytic but it also helps with physical symptoms from tremors to seizures. because it's week, its better as a preventative rather than taking it when problems surface. Although, if swim gets any problems, he could take another few propranolol pills. I've just found that they have an additive affect of vasoconstriction when combined with ergot alkaloids, so i guess that means swim should be careful if he goes for the lsd.

How did you find this out? Could you elaborate on this?
