Drug info - Ages to come up maybe due to putting MDMA in cigarette paper?

Swim has used MDMA a handful of times at a dose of around 300mg, taking 100mg per hour (sometimes a little more time between depending on how Swim feels). Swim as a rule doesn't use MDMA more than once a month as he doesn't want to build up tolerance, nor damage his health excessively.

For the first few times Swim found he would come up in around 30-45 minutes, but lately he has found this is taking longer and longer. This weekend it took 1.5 hours!

The thing is that Swim has noticed with this time increase, the high is considerably stronger, with the last trip being rather too hard in terms of gurning like a fool (which is quite embarrassing), being far more hyper than his companions and saying some rather ridiculous things.

The only difference is that the last few times Swim has been wrapping the MDMA in cigarette paper so it's easy to moderate 100mg dosages, rather than dabbing as he used to. Is this likely to be responsible for the time it takes to kick in?

Swim just can't understand why it's not standard, sort of 'within the hour' that he seems to come up.

Swim has experienced the exact opposite. When he first started using MDMA, it would take 2+ hours to feel the effects (effects would often last 5+ hours also). After becoming more experienced with the drug swim would come up in 30-45 minutes.

Wrapping in cigarette paper is going to have little to no effect whatsoever. Think of how quick they break apart in saliva on your tongue - now imagine how quick they will dissolve in the acid in your stomach.

Little fishy has had extensive experience with MDMA & MDA in both pills (2004-2006) and pure crystal thereafter. Oral ingestion has always resulted in an onset of 30 minutes and an intranasal onset of 10 mins, give or take a couple of minutes. This is always on an empty stomach - oral onset would take longer if a meal has been eaten fairly recently prior to the experience.

PMA (para-methoxy-amphetamine) is often sold as Ecstasy and has a come up time of around 1-1.5 hours, but 300mg of this chemical would likely be very very dangerous and not without negative consequences.

BZP/TFMPP and more recently mCPP have become extremely prominent in being sold as MDMA (Ecstasy) in tablet form, especially in the UK. These Piperazines take around 1.5-2 hours to come up on and have similarities to the effects of MDMA. mCPP is reportedly the most MDMA like.

By no means am I saying this is what SWIY had, just throwing suggestions out there. The 1.5-2 hours to come up seems excessively long even on a full stomach to little fishy, especially in people who regularly come up around the same time. Obviously, any response you receive is going to be speculation since there are so many possible variables at play.

It has also taken two hours before for swim. He had just munched out and literally took the MDMA straight after that. After an hour or so he could feel that feeling that something was changed but it had not reached his head yet, and he had that odd coming up feeling for a whole hour before it kicked in fully. I think that some types of MDMA take longer to break down, though I dont know why this is, and especially if you've got a full stomach. Patience is a virtue. If its good stuff, it will happen eventually. Erowid also says it can take up to two hours aswell for oral ingestion, but it really shouldn't take any longer than that.

SWIM takes anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half. This is usually because SWIM tries to eat a somewhat decent meal before buzzing for 8+ hours. Just chill with your friends and wait for the fun to begin, its all part of the experience. At least for SWIM, anyway

Dabbing is quicker than bombing, i.e. wrapping it in a rizla and chucking it down your throat. However, squirrel prefers bombing, even if you do have to wait a bit longer. Dabbing tastes horrible, and he prefers the round come-up from bombing. Be advised, come-up times are pretty random and vary widely - it has taken Squirrel 20 minutes to 2 and a half hours; it largely depends on the contents of ones stomach. Also, the reason you acted like a fool is because you took 300mg! That is a pretty heavy dose...

SWIM agrees with this , last weekend SWIM took almost 3 hours to come up and crashed pretty hard only an hour or so later the crash is more likely to do with other drug intake.

Never will an experiance / come up time / roll length be the same as another.

My little fishy wouldn't agree with that. On pure crystal MDMA on an empty or also empty stomach little fishy always comes up in 30 minutes +/- 3. The roll length is generally always the same with a specific route of administration, but the size of the dose, or use of other drugs or alcohol can affect this. The experience regarding the drugs effects (on it's own) doesn't really change, only the set/setting.

Little fishy thinks the questionable quality and quantity of product available in today's market has a big impact on topics like this. Most people make judgements on pills which could have 0mg MDMA or 200mg MDMA, or it could be MDE, MDEA, MDA, MBDB, mCPP, PMA, BZP, TFMPP, MMCAT, MDMCAT, bk-MBDB, Ketamine, Amphetamine or god knows how many other chemicals or a combination thereof. Unless you know the manufacturer whatever opinion you hold is based on assumption and/or speculation since you have no idea of a pills real chemical make up short of sending it off for expensive GC/MS lab testing.

With that in mind, I wonder how many people out there think Ecstasy is shit, because they got pills and tried them but they were Piperazines or some other crap and they are none the wiser. Sadly, they may never get to experience what I've been told is the most wonderful feeling in the world.

Swim completely agrees with fishy. Swim hates the fact that every pill he gets is always different. Swim has even got blotter with supposed LSD on it but the come up time and experience was not LSD.

This is why swim got into pharmaceuticals because every pill is exactly the same...

Guess it's time for everyone who is tired of getting a combination of other chemicals in their "suspected MDMA" to learn about chemistry and produce their own. ) I don't know about y'all, but most people I've known aren't all about putting some random shit into their system. Yuck..
