Temazepam - stop the rumination and relieve spastic tense muscles

A friend of mine AFOM, a massage therapist and a disabled veteran who suffers from Post traumatic stress, generalized anxiety disorder informed me that she used temazepam in a slightly higher does than prescribed. She took two 15mg tabs then railed one half the contents of a capsule. She explained that the tension in her shoulders and neck that also resulted in headaches had subsided greatly. She felt heavy yet euphoric and her constant ruminations and anxiey that prevented her from relaxing and ultimately sleeping subsided. She was safe in her domicile and agreed that this was a good overall benzo to alleviate anxiety produced tension and sundue the mind enough to find overall mind and body relaxation. She had already tried meditation, deep breathing exercises, stretching, warm milk, hot baths. Massage was not available.
