Experiences - Phenobarbital

SWIM recently came into possession of a lot of phenobarbital. They are small yellow pills, 30mg each and were obtained from a Vet (there is no sick animal without its medication, so please dont get mad about that).
Can anyone share any experience SWTK migh have with phenobarbital?
SWIM is interested in trying it for relaxation, anxiety, and sleep.

Iv'e taken phenobarbital a few times, the first time I took 400 mg and this caused a good drunken buzz without the shitty feelings assosicated with drinking to much. I would start with 100 mg unless you have some tolerance to benzos or alcohol. Also Phenobarbital lasts pretty long so on high doses expect to be drunk for a day or 2 because of this I eat my doses the night before, good sleep and wake up feeling anxiety free.

There's a reason the benzodiazepines replaced barbiturates. Barbiturates have a shallow dose response curve and are extremely easy to overdose on.

My cat liked to mix them with benzo's, like 50-100mg Phenobarbital + 10-20 Diazepam, she always was pretty calm with it...
