Drug info - MDMA and Ketamine??

SWIM is wondering if she could get some advice?
Quite a while ago, SWIM took some 'Ecstacy' pills with a friend.
SWIM firstly took one pill... SWIM thinks that this is always the best way.
After a short time SWIM and friend felt quite strange... a form of detachment from the world and a feeling of loss of leg useage, SWIM could really only describe this sensation as a bizarre stoned feeling.
SWIM doesn't remember the whole duration of the experience, but does remember taking another pill then another half, only for the sensations to increase.
SWIM remembers reading somewhere that Ketamine trips can sometimes be unremembered.
SWIM was immobilised for a time, an unknown time probably spanning hours, SWIM'S mind was fine, just the body was physically unable to move.
SWIM doesn't remember the end of the experience, and had no bad after-effects.
SWIM hadn't taken any other substance for a few days before this experience, so was not suffering any other after-effects, and didn't take anything else during the experience.

Would SWIY be able to say if SWIM used Ketamine that day, or if not, what would SWIY say was used?

SWIM is fine with this experience, and knows that information is knowledge, and knowledge is power.

There is certainly a chance that ketamine is present in some pills. When Swim was reading the post he was looking to see if any visuals or minor hallucinations (not the most correct word) were experienced. If not, ketamine still can't be ruled out because minor doses do not tend to cause this, however, the fact that Swiy noted a dissociation feeling and immobilisation is interesting. Even on high doses of ketamine, Swim can walk and move around to some extent.

Swiy should respect that pills sold as ecstasy can contain a whole range of various substances. To be absolutely sure that Swiy consumed ketamine, get hold of some and have a go after a night out. Read the Ketamine forum for tips on dose and safe usage. If what Swiy feels is comparable to the feelings from the pills, then Swiy can definitely argue there was a hint of ketamine in them.

SWIM thanks you for your reply Lettish.

SWIM reports that no visuals were remembered to have occured, although SWIM certainly doesn't consiously remember the entire experience... she feels that if she did she would have more information to relay.

SWIM has taken 'E's' on numerous occasions, not to have an experience anything similar to this (not unpleasant) experience.

SWIM says that trying Ketamine would be a good benchmark to gauge her experience against, and has put it on her shortlist.

SWIM also reports that she has experienced trips and remembers nothing trippy at all about this experience.

SWIM will study carefully for as long and as many times as it takes her to understand the Ketamine 'rules' as she believes all substances MUST be respected.

It definitely doesn't sound like MDMA and yes it could be ketamine. To be certain swiy could get a blood test ? Or get another pill and get it tested.

Swim wouldn't take another or use that source again !!
If swiy wants to try ketamine then start with a small line, half a thumb nail swim was told. And do it in a safe place, swim used to bump into things when he was on ketamine. And communicating can be hard so put a do not disturb sign on the door.

SWIM has moved away since so another encounter with the contact would be at best unlikely, and SWIM couldn't hope to gain from a blood test as it was a wee while ago now.

SWIM is not very social when using anything, outside of those who know her and love her.

SWIM uses for internal as opposed to external reasons and has been at a point of none-vocalising a time or two, so her notepad and pen will be coming in useful again!

It does sound like ketamine. It may have been DXM, which is similar. I would try to get pure MDMA if possible. Next time you may not be so lucky and get PMA in them instead. Swim has given up pills full stop now due to so many dealers selling bad stuff with low (if any) MDMA content.

It really could have been anything to be honest, & as such pill id threads are not allowed on this forum. There are sites that post reports & analysis of pills which may be useful in these circumstances (unfortunately the most active of these sites cannot be linked to here as it is closely linked to another forum). Best advice, invest in a reagent testing kit - know what your monkey is taking beforehand.
