Due to software issues, I screwed up the forum database today. Which caused the forum to crash.

A backup has been restored to resolve this. However; this means that the last 28 hours of posts and registrations are gone.

i had to login to see this, could you put that registry portion up on top so people reading it from the home page can see. might make it a little better for them to figure out what is wrong.

The problem occurred just before the last backup, so the backup from yesterday had to be used.

Everything done here yesterday is gone. This includes posts, reputation, awards, blogs, files, pm's, groups messages. I cant do anything about it.

Totally unacceptable. You should consider terminating your own employment. You have set a bad example for many of us, especially me. In fact...I may "accidentally" forget to pick up my better half from work and let her freeze to death in the bitter cold. Basically, I may end up letting my marriage "crash" due to your negligence and bad representation of what a positive role model should be.

Scared the hell out of me when the site crashed. Thought my comp. was fucked up or something. But good to see that we only lost what was done yesturday. Imagine how pissed people would be who wrote huge wikis and all, and saw it puff up in smoke?

If they were going to do that to any board online it would not be this one fortunately. Drugs-forum has good standards, they would much rather take down boards that let people talk about sources, deal drugs or incriminate themselves. This is why I prefer this forum to most others.

I have increased our hosting conditions, so we have multiple backups per day. It costs €40 per month extra, but this event has showed that is worthwhile.
