Weight - How are Mushroom Measured in Weight?

Just curious, Swim has NEVER done shrooms.

Swim did search the forums [found nothing], and was just wondering some basic questions;

How are shrooms measured in weight?
When Swiy talks about 1/8th, thats 3.5G's, right?
And Swim is guessing, thats the amount people usually buy at?
For a first time user, how much would one take?

As you can see, Swim is very stupid when it comes to this subject.

That's strange. There's a whole forum dedicated to magic mushrooms, and a sub-forum dedicated to their use. Take a look at that link.

Mushrooms are usually measured in grams.
An "eighth" usually refers to an "eighth of an ounce", so that's right.
Anywhere between 1-3 grams is a good first time dose, and many people do not feel the need to go much higher than that. No more than 3.5 anyway, says This Crazy Pot Leaf.

I have no idea what else someone who isn't you would like to know about weighing mushrooms. They are placed on a scale, and weighed. The scale displays how much they weigh. It's a rather simple process.

Pay real close attention here... start small, and I mean small (1 or 2 caps) and wait for 30 minutes or so. You, really, really don't want to take too many or you will be sorry. SWIM read all the material and tediously weighed out 2.5g (7-8 small shrooms) and it resulted in the most terrifying experience of his life.
