Lovan (Fluoxetine) + GHB - Effects?
Swim was prescribed 20mg of Lovan for depression and mild anxiety. Swim used to enjoy taking GHB. Is it safe to take GHB while on Lovan?

Candy says there should no problem with combining fluoxetine (Lovan) with GHB as their pharmacodynamics differ, i.e. GHB affects GHB and GABA-B receptors while fluoxetine increases serotonin levels in a brain.

She would not risk, however, mixing cocaine with fluoxetine. Candy's not an expert but she would suspect that ingesting two drugs causing serotonin activity might end up with a serotonin syndrome and this is potentially fatal condition. Not worth trying ones luck.
