Experiences - Smoking Resin

If swim smokes resin swim feels a different high but usualy ok. is there any info. that any swimmz have about the thc content in resin or experiences feel free to share. swim has a big bag of resin from a bowl that he broke that was CLOGGED.

Resin has a very high THC content. Hence, it messes you up, differently from regular weed too in the opinion of some. I found this:

Resin scraped from a bowl is very different from the resin SWIY may buy on the street, and even bought stuff is highly variable.
Resin scraped from the inside of a bowl will probably be very low potency as the heating of the bowl in previous uses will have vaporized most of the thc from it.

Resin bought as a product, is a different name for hash, polm (and many other slang terms) this resin should in its ideal form be the resinous glands (trichomes) that coat cannabis buds and the leaves that surround them, and can be of very high potency.
However bought resin can also be mixed with adulterants which have in the past included oil, rubber, shoe polish etc which means for the weight SWIY purchases they are getting very little of the trichomes they actually want and infact a low potency product.

I know a dude who would puff on it from time to time, he said it got him stoned but tasted awful and often caused headaches and other unpleasant effects Cannabis and hash did not cause. I reasoned with him, "Aren't you just smoking condensed smoke byproducts." He shot back, defiant, "Sometimes that is all it takes." He sat back and let his eyelids droop. SWIM is sure his friends have had exactly that conversation with him at different times. Although it seems dirty when theres nothing else going, that tar-like resin'e remains can still take the edge off soberity.

However experience tells me never ever add any of this scraped substance to green dragon, as that does provide a truly disgusting experience, and stale smoke flavored burps for a few hours!

SWIM regrettingly admits she will scrape resin in times of need. SWIM has always found it is a very strong high, tastes like shit, but does the trick really fast. Once you get past the taste, SWIM thinks it's great in a time of need!

swim agrees. swim always seems to get BOOTED when swim smokes resin but everyone eles says that it doesn't have THC. oh welp

It could very well be placebo affect for you and SWIM Gutter! Whatever it is, SWIM still is going to do it when necessary! lol

SWIM's experience with smoking resin wasn't bad at all. Yes, the taste isn't good, but the taste certainly isn't intolerable by any means. It gave SWIM a very intense mind high, but no body high, which can be a bit off-putting at first.

One thing SWIM noticed is that resin burns for a LONG time. SWIM's bowl was packed about half as full of resin as it typically is with weed, and it lasted SWIM about 5 times longer.

SWIM has heard stories from other's about getting ridiculously high off of bowls of resin, though SWIM wouldn't say that it was noticeably above and beyond a typical high.

Anyone know anyone who tried to smoke it?

On the subject of finding THC in the darnedest places,
a friend who is between harvests tells me he did an quick iso
wash with the pastry brush he uses to sweep up keif on his
drysift trays.

It was pretty sticky but a quick swish in Isopropyl alcohol poured into a pastry cup cleaned it right up.
The residue it left when dry was pretty much mind-blowing he tells me.
Maybe stronger than the original hash because it is a 50/50 mix of strong indica and sativas
giving a big full spectrum hit.
