Theres a lot of threads pertaining to other blends, but I could hardly find any information on this one, so I thought I'd share SWIM's recent experiences with it.
Aroma comes in 1g small cardboard packages, that took SWIM a while to work out how to open, and properly closing it again was found to be impossible, but a little sealed baggy inside the package prevents leakage (SWIM remembers when he tried Dream, and the bottom of the foil packet wasn't sealed properly and the blend fell out ). The box has a small silver circle on it to help measure an appropriate dosage, which is probably a good thing because such a small amount is needed that weighing would be difficult. The Actual blend is very finely powdered.
With each packet comes an information slip, and this shows a few differences between this company (Star Gate) and others. It provides safety information (ie. do not operate heavy machinery etc.), and still maintains that it is not for human consumption. It reads "product must not be representedas chemical free", which is the closest thing to honesty about these blends not truly being herbal that I have seen so far. There is a lot of stuff about harm reduction, but while this sends a good message, it's probably just a complete marketing ploy, especially seeing as the only product made by this company so far is a cannabis substitute (though apperently Star Gate is bringing out some pills soon). Incidentally, the information slip also says "caution: inhaling fumes may cause stoned sensation" and "when stoned be calm, try to relax, and play some appropriate music. Maybe a little Playstation".
On to the actual experience. SWIM rolled a small amount ( about 1/5th of the gram, maybe less) of Aroma using regular sized rolling papers, and smoked. The smoke was very smooth and easy to take in, and didn't have any real taste. Effects were felt relatively quickly. There was something in common with the original 3 spice blends in that there were no pleasant body tingles (like with the other newer blends that SWIM has tried - Dream, Smoke, Ex-ses, Yucatan Fire - these are all very similar for SWIM), and also gave some of the pleasant feelings in movement and floating sensations (while lying down with eyes closed) like the original Spice blends. A pleasant, mild euphoria was felt. It did however lack the powerful dreamlike quality, and the overall tone of the high was more like the newer blends, and the legevity of the high was short like them as well - the strongest effects faded in half an hour. Music was enhanced more than with any other blend, though not as much as with actual cannabis. SWIM's sense of humour was through the roof - an attempt to copy a drawing while being watched (a challenge) resulted in SWIM almost dying of laughter and a bizzarre abstract sketch that didn't look anything like what it was supposed to (the lady and the tramp)
Overall, SWIM rates this very highly. He found the high better than with all of the newer blends he listed, though the main selling point is the potency - the small amount needed to get high amazed SWIM, and going on value this blend far surpasses any other SWIM had tried. The problem was how long it lasted, which has been a big dissapointment for this as well as other blends.
I can't believe I made this so long...
