Effects - my new promblems with dextroamphetamine

im prescribed dextroamphetamine, 60mgs daily (30mgs in the morning and 30mgs around noon at school) i have been taking it for about a year without problems until now.

Every time i take it now i hate the effects. i get the head high (urging impulse to do anything) and it seems to last forever. i cant stop thinking basically so when i come home to relax my head is racing. i also seem to plan out my entire day down to the hour it drives me crazy. i get really bad anxiety and im constantly thinking about what im doing and saying.

i use to love taking it but now i hate it i dont want to stop the perscription because in the end it benifits me

i am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to bring back the joy of taking it and reverse the new bad side effects

Swim would suggest talking to swiy's doctor to alter the dosage. It sounds like swiy may be taking too high of a dose. If the side effects outweigh the benefits, it is not worth taking the medication.

I don't think it could have been said any better, just tell the doc whats up and work together on a solution.
