Greetings

SWIM was wondering if SWIY has any experiences with using kief in a vaporizer? SWIM wonders if anything is felt? SWIM thinks that the best bet would be the mix kief with some herb before vaping? SWIM wonders what is the best temperature for kief?

Swims never used a vape but he would bet that because kief is the contained in the plant itself anyway and it's the bit you want so it should be the same temprature as bud. you can probably just stick it right in there and smoke away.

one would almost certainly "feel something" if they vaporized trichomes (kief). they're used to make hash, after all...

damn that is a realy good question SWIM mite have to try it, even if it doesnt work its worth a try. SWIM just shouldnt use to much kief at first attempt

SWIM would think it would work (As it is still a resinous herb extract) but would recomend at a lower temp as keif seems to burn alot faster, which could be due to a lack of material.

Yes, smoking kief in the vaporizer is very effective.

Mixing the kief with shredded cannabis prior to smoking increases the duration of the bowl and reduces the amount of kief lost in the motion of air created by sucking or by the fan, depending on whether one uses a convection vaporizer, one with a hose, or one with a bag.

If using a volcano, the kief can be smoked alone if two screens are used, or a liquid pad is employed. Otherwise, it is best to mix with cannabis prior to smoking, even if just a small amount.

In a convection vaporizer, kief can most certainly be roasted on its own to great effect.

The other day, Swim's stash was running very low. He vaped a very small bowl (about half of his normal-sized bowl of bud) of shake and kief/cannabis particles from his grinder.

Swim had more success with vaping the kief than with his other, previous methods of consumption (sprinkling on top of bubbler bowl). In fact, he got surprisingly high off of that tiny bowl.

So yes, it is very effective. The vaporizer probably destroys way less of the active ingredients than other methods, so it might just be the most effective!
