Swim found the pill he's going to drop tonight on **************** and it's been tested. It's the G's up hoes down pill. According to the person who performed a reagent test on it, it's pure 100% MDA with no traces of MDMA.

Swim is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIIIIIGHLY disappointed

... but he still wants to drop them tonight.

Being that Swim has never consumed MDMA before and the only pill Swim has ever done was BZP + Speed (which sucked and gave Swim panic attacks) any advice for Swim on the consumption of MDA?

Swim is considering going real slow, IE dropping half and waiting two or more hours before taking the second half. Swim knows MDA causes hallucinations and a trip and Swim does not want to have a bad trip.

Or should Swim just say FUCK these pills and search for real MDMA...

MDA is just as fun if not sometimes better than MDMA. The euphoria tends to remain the same or even increase slightly, but the empathy/loved up feeling is dampened a little. MDA is tripper and more likely to cause some mild hallucinations, especially with larger doses but not to the extent of other drugs like LSD. A bad trip is highly unlikely. When MDMA is metabolised in the liver some of it is broken down into MDA anyway. Litte fishy is sure SWIY will enjoy it.

That said, just because you have found a pill on a test site it does not mean the contents will be the same. Good pills often have the imprint replicated by other manufactures who try to cash in on it's popularity. I also don't think it's possible to test the pill with a reagent test and conclude that it is 100% MDA, you would need a proper GC/MS lab test to confirm this.

You may have had better luck posting this in the correct forum, the Ecstasy forum doesn't cover just MDMA but all the structurally similar chemicals.

Did SWIY witness the test himself? If not, then he shouldn't assume what the contents of the pill consist of. If yes, does SWIY know how the pill was tested and the test kits used for the purpose of this discussion?

Don't be disappointed! Think of it as an opportunity to try a relatively rare, and very worthwhile, chemical. SWIM had some incredibly visual pills once that he thinks probably had MDA in them, and it was one of SWIM's best 'ecstasy' experiences ever. It's still very euphoric, so the chances of a bad trip are pretty minimal, SWIM would say. But if you're still unsure, taking a half at first to see if you like it can't be a bad idea. Have fun!

I agree, dont be disappointed, expectations play a very big role in how a drug works. Swiy should just think of it as an oppertunity to try something new and exciting that swiy could find even better than MDMA itself, some people certainly do say this about MDA. Stay optomistic!
