Alkaloids extraction from coca leaves, using a butane (honey bee type) extractor ...
Swim's wondering if anybody ever tried to make an alcaloïds extraction from powdered coca leaves, using a honey bee extractor. Swim thinks this device does a butane extraction from the plant material (using pressurised butane aka lighter fluid). Alcaloïds would most probably come along in the liquid butane. After it has vaporised, some sort of coca gum/resin would be left, isn't it ?
Also Swim wonders if that would work better ading something along with the coca leaves in the extractor (Na2CO3 ? Kerosene ? H2SO4 ? Amonia ?). Thanks in advance
