Examining the Negative Physical Effects of Benzedrex (Add Experiences Here!)

Because there is so little information regarding the health effects of Benzedrex in healthy individuals, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread/database of "swimpersonal" experience reports for this substance that include ONLY PHYSICAL HEALTH SYMPTOMS AND NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS experienced by swiys and swimmers on this forum.

There are plenty of discussions about the recreational effects, some of which go so far as to rate its desirable effects on a "stimulant scale" from 1 to 10 in comparison to other stimulants like meth and coke, but swim has yet to find such a scale quantifying the dangers and health consequences of Benzedrex compared to other stimulants.

This is particularly disturbing because Benzedrex is not a new substance: it's been available OTC on and off for decades in the US. There is no excuse for the lack of health information regarding PPX, and it's swimmers like swiy and swim that are paying the price. Catch my drift?

I know we're not all doctors or scientists here, but we can still do a lot of good by contributing our own "swim stories" about the health effects swiy has experienced from Benzedrex use. They needn't be lengthy trip reports, but should include some basic info like the following:

1. Substance(s) taken, including Benzedrex and any other nonfood product ingested.
2. Approximate dosage of substance taken.
3. Method of administration or "MOA" (parachuting, injecting, etc.)
4. Level of experience with Benzedrex and other stimulants.
5. Any documented health conditions swiy may suffer from (not mental health, just physical health info please).
6. A description of the negative physical (not mental) side effects experienced.
7. How the negative effects of Benzedrex compare to those of any other stimulants swiy has used, if applicable.

Just to help put these experiences into perspective, you can rate the severity of swiy's side effects on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "barely noticeable" and 10 being "the most frightening experience of swim's life".

I'll start.

1. Substances taken by swim: Benzedrex.
2. Dosage: Less than 100 mg. over the course of 4 hours.
3. MOA: Soaked in lemon juice for 1 hour, squeezed out, and drunk.
4. Previous experience: Swim's first time with Benzedrex. Previous experience with ephedra (4+ years ago), caffeine, yohimbe, coca tea, yerba mate, and pseudoephedrine.
5. Documented health conditions: No serious physical health conditions known.
6. Description of negative effects: noticeably but not uncomfortably rapid pulse, slight intestinal discomfort (tummy "growling") during comedown that was relieved by eating, and mild muscle tension/fidgeting, especially of the hands.
7. Negative effects compared to other stimulants: more serious than pseudoephedrine or caffeine, but less severe than ephedra in 25-125 mg. doses.

***Severity Rating Scale Score: 4***

Pretty simple, hunh?

If you don't wanna follow that format exactly, just try to include the information above in SOME form--paragraph, list, etc. I know it's not as entertaining as talking about the fun aspects of Benzedrex, but it's infinitely more important in the long run. All swimmers really have is testimonials and secondhand reports to go off of, most of which contain no useful info on the health effects of PPX.

If you wanna discuss extraction methods, the best MOA for Benzedrex, how it compares to ______ drug recreationally, how it made swiy feel mentally or emotionally, addiction potential, or anything not directly related to negative physical side effects, this thread is not the place. There are plenty of other places for discussing those topics, which is why I started this thread.

There are simply too many Benzedrex fans out there to ignore the potential health risks for the sake of a good time, and every responsible swimmer should do his/her part to contribute to the available information on potentially deadly substances like this. Swim knows she's not alone in her search for this knowledge, nor in her inability to find satisfactory information on the topic of negative health effects of Benzedrex.

(It's ok to suggest informative sources to check out, but the focus should be on swiy's actual experience with Benzedrex, not links to studies or other informational sites.)
