Urine tests for opiates: subutex
Hey Swimmers across the world,
In case of urine tests for opiates, if one is on subutex, will it test positive? Or is buprenorphine, being an opioid, not among the substances that test positive?

Subutex will not test positive for opiates. It is just like oxycodone in which it can be tested for but if the drug test is just for opiates, that tests for only morphine and codeine and Subutex does not break down into either one of those

A nurse at the rehab center confirmed this. There was a drop in order and it was debated that the subtex would make the dirty time last longer. Its figured she detoxes people for a living so she knows her stuff.
