Experiences - Oxycodone Help

SWIM has just recently started poppin 30mg tablet of oxycodone. Today SWIM took two .5mg of Ativan which she perscribed for panic attacks in addition to 200mg zoloft daily. Swim has just chewed a 30mg tablet of oxy and it has been a half hour and she does not feel the usual high, is it safe for SWIM to take another?

swim would wait another 30 minutes before taking more, and she would also say go with another 10 or 15 instead of another 30, dont wanna take too much and get sick!

also, both ativan and zoloft have a warning in the info packet saying you should tell your doctor if you are taking any opioid analgesics like oxycodone while on these medications, but there are many other things listed as well, in fact zoloft is listed in the ativan warning, and vice versa. Mixing all these medications wouldnt be recommended, but it also isnt necessarily bad. I believe if anything it would increase the risk of other side effects. But. I would say if swiy has been taking oxy with the other stuff for a while it is probably ok.

Well SWIM had never taken oxy along with both ativan and zoloft, just with zoloft. SWIM did take the other tablet though about a half hour after the first and has a decent high but hiccuping like a sonofabitch and throwing up in her mouth a little, is this bad?

Zoloft shouldn't directly interact with opiates, but it might interfere with the metabolism, so that the opiate might last longer or shorter, or the zoloft might increase/decrease in the blood stream etc

60 mins is the amount of time an immediate release oxy should peak in the blood stream, so redosing should occur at +1 hours.

Your lucky you weren't mucking around with more serious doses. Redosing before the first dose has taken full effect is a major risk factor in overdose. What if at 30 mins the oxy was only at 50% level in your blood, then you take another dose, from what you have said you could have ended up then with a 200% increase in effect.

Always be very careful dosing with opiates.
