What is the most danger anyone has put them self in due to alcohol?
Swim used to drink really heavily and thinking back at some of the things swim did while intoxicated scares her. Swim has also taken a lot and many kinds of drugs and belives she never did anything quite so stupid and dangerous while on any drug that she has done under the influence of alcohol.
A few of swims most dangerous experiences are.. Swim and her friend got back from the club around 3am very VERY drunk and decided that it would be a great idea to take swims friends new car that he got that day so he could learn how to drive out for a spin. None of these people actually had a licence. Swim was still learning to drive herself. They both took turns driving around swims friends area amazingly not managing to crash but swearving all over the place. They then got home safe somehow where the person drivings brother was standing there looking very worried. Swim and her friend just thought this was even more funny so tried to speed off in the other direction and crashed into a lampost. Swim was not wairing a seat belt and went flying into the windscreen, cracking open her head which started to bleed a lot. Swims friend decided this would be a good time to tell his parents what he had done and get them to help him out of it. They were furious. The car had to be written off and swim and her friend have given up on trying to drive. Another moment swim thinks back on was when she was only 15. Bored and drunk in town with her friends they decided to get on a bus. They werent really sure why or where it went but it was one of thoes things that feels like a really good idea at the time. The bus ended up going to a small town around 3 hours from the village swim lived. When they got there and got off at the last stop they relised that this place had nothing open and no one there so maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all. They tried to get back on the bus but were told that there wasn't another one to the morning and were stranded there. They all walked around the street trying to find something open to they could buy food but everywhere was shut. After what felt like forever the actually bumped into some people. They were two indian men who had apparently just finished work at an indian resturant down the road. The told us that they had "food and shelter" as they put it and we should come stay at there house until the morning. So swim and her friend who were still drunk and STUPID thought yeah why not and went along, dragging their other friend behind who could actually see this was a bad idea from the start. The men lived in a scarey looking flat and did things like offer us drink then leave the room to get "ice" then come back saying oh were out of it sorry with the drink being another colour. Swim didn't drink this but her friend did and then half passed out on the bed. There was banging on the wall from the next room and the shouts of baby baby baby for hours. It was just generally a desturbing night and the friend that had been dragged along with swim and her other friend never went out with them again. The managed to get the bus home in the morning but just the thought of going through all that at 15 still scares swim. |

Re: What is the most danger anyone has put them self in due to alcohol?
Ican has put himself in many dangerous situations in his drinking years, many moons ago.
He has given stuff away, lost consciousness in places where he could have been vulnerable. He has pissed people off, and bored them senseless. He has made an arse of himself in so many different ways, a list would bust the bandwidth. One or two drinks is as much as Ican can handle nowadays, as he seems to throw any more up since mucking his guts with other drugs. He can also only drink when he has had a sedative beforehand, not after. Drinking without a sedative, just puts Ican in a morbid mood, which has a ripple effect into the following days. |

SWIM had a habit of intentionally driving while intoxicated for entertainment.

They had much luck, no accident happened besides a few little crashes on walls etc. with little damage on the vehicles and one time they drove right into a cornfield and another time into a shallow brook ![]() € oh swim just remembers another dangerous situation while drunk. They (4 people, all drunken) drove around, 2 on top of the car and 2 in the inside and had much fun. But then there was this damn curve, where the driver got in too fast and swim felt down on the street and wrecked his head a bit on the asphalt. Last edited by poppypreacher; 22-01-2009 at 12:08. |

Re: What is the most danger anyone has put them self in due to alcohol?
SWIM has been mugged while drunk, and apparently the muggers had knives (they didn't pull them on SWIM). They robbed his friends mobile phone after they banged his head into a lamp post (though SWIM didn't see this). When the muggers confronted SWIM saying "Lets see what's in your pockets", he just repeatedly said "I haven't got anything in my pockets", untill eventually the muggers left, having already robbed a phone. I don't know if that was the best course of action for SWIM to take, but maybe he would have assessed the situation better if not drunk (though, perhaps not - he didn't lose anything valuable...), he came really close to swinging for the muggers, but because he felt as if he could hit them at least 10 times in a second he realised that his feelings couldn't be trusted. Whether or not SWIM would have reacted better while sober is irrelevant really - while sober SWIM would probably have never walked home at 4AM through a rough area, just because he didn't want to wait 2 hours for a taxi.
When SWIM was younger he did stupid things while drunk, including wandering through a city centre at night calling strangers "dirty bastards", though mostly he was friendly to strangers, asking them "Are you having a laugh? Good, because that's the most important thing", which some people found amusing and started a conversation, but others took offense to. SWIM is glad those days are behind him. |
