can poppy tea cause hallucanations?

swim wants to make some poppy tea for his dog but swim wanted to know can it cause hallucanations?
swim knows opiads on there own cant,but swim read on a site that it can cause hallucanations due to all the other chmicals present,addimitally it was also said along with alll the lines how lethal poppy tea can be but sill,is there any thruth in it?swims dog loves opiads but after one too many bad acid experiances

swims dog hates any thing that makes him trip,as soon as he feels the trip come on he starts panicking thus making into a bad trip.
