Dose - Kratom - Recommended doses too low?

Has anyone felt that the recommended doses for Kratom are a bit too low? Swim purchased a bunch of Maeng Da Kratom and he has been needing about 20g to need a decently strong high. Granted, he is 250lbs and might have a bit of an opiate tolerance to begin with (although he hasn't used in months), but he still would have expected that it shouldn't take as much as it has been taking--especially for Maeng Da which is presumably supposed to be a bit more potent. Does this sound weird to anyone or have you experienced things similar to this? Do you think that this can all be attributed to just being a big person?

Maybe next time swim will just buy the cheapest Kratom he can find and hopefully it won't lose as much potency as price--because right now this is a somewhat expensive habit, something swim was trying to avoid by not splurging on the presumably disappointing extracts.

Eddie would vomit for extended periods from 20g of any kratom. People with opiate tolerances shouldn't really expect to get "high" from kratom as its effects are somewhat mild.

After a Kratom detox SWIM only needs 4g of Premium grade Indo to get effects.
20g of good quality Maeng Da would indeed give SWIM a very bad day.

If swim wanted to get some of this Krantom, would it be possible? and is it legal unlike salvia?

On another note, SWIM's experiences are in line with the others - 20 g would be way way too much. The penguin does Bali Extract and usually does 5-6 if he wants a strong high. More than 5 will usually give him stomach pains, which get severe at 6 and increase exponentially very quick. More than 7.5 is too much.

Depends on what SWIY want of course. SWIM can get high on 3 g, but it is not enough. SWIM usually takes 20g (10g powder and 10g tea). This gives the effect SWIM wants.

Legal substances in one place may be illegal in another and since this is an international forum, sources are dissallowed, even for something like alcohol.

You mean intensified extract (like 15X extract), or extract SWIY made himself?

It's just the normal Bali extract, I am not sure what the strength is, but it came in powdered form, SWIM did not alter it in any way. He usually just makes a tea with it and adds sugar and honey. It's quite good and quite powerful. Even leaves a cocaine like numbness all over inside of penguin's mouth.

One would have plenty of difficulty finding "Krantom."

I noticed on both of your posts, you refer to this Krantom. Everyone else here is discussing "KRATOM"--i.e. there's no N before the T...

i am trying to find out more information about Krantom, can anyone point me to a reliable website where i may read more about this? (other than this one i already know this is a good site!)
