Snorting - Snorting Prescribed Seroquel

I am prescribed 600mg of Seroquel Nightly but I have heard stories of people snorting crushed up seroquel pills. The questions I have are,

if I crush up a pill and snort it will it give the same medical effects as swallowing the pills?

Should I use a much lower dose of the seroquel (not 600mg) if I am going to snort it?

Red Rock highly, highly recommends that SWIY doesn't snort Seroquel (quetiapine). Quetiapine is an anti-psychotic and has no recreational effects beyond making one very sedated. It works fairly well for sleep but even then, Red Rock wouldn't want to be taking an anti-psychotic for sleep purposes only. This is part of the reason why Red Rock got off this medicine so quickly after he found out that it was an anti-psychotic. His doc used to prescribe him this for sleep and it was effective but Red Rock would rather be taking something else for this purpose.

Swim has snorted straight seroquel before but swim would highly recommend not taking 600 mg first off you wouldnt be able to breath out your nose for the next couple of days and secondly swim got what he needed from a a 1/4 of a 300mg but since your prescribed you might need to up the does just try 1/4 of 300 and go from what your feeling it kicks in pretty quick so wait 30 minutes and if you need more go for it.
