Hey everyone, SWIM has used ecstasy a couple of times and his last time was during new years. He is wondering if 25 days is enough between using ecstasy, he really is worried about "losing the magic" and is not sure if he should wait or is 25 days more than enough. Thanks!
Well, a couple of months between usage would be optimum. However, if you do not make a habit of making it every three weeks, you probably wont loose the magic.
yeah SWIY is probably right, I have just heard some stories of people losing the magic after only a couple of uses, I will go for it thanks for the input!
Obviously, the more often you do it, the more exspensive it is. Don't know about losing it's magic, SWIM had great experiences on it every time he took it. But you're never going experience your first come up again though.
Thanks for all the input, from what SWIM has read, 2-3 months between use is optimal, and he is still taking it on the 24th and will reply with how well it goes after 25 days of no mdma in the system
Physiologically, 2-3 months isn't really necessary. A month is probably ideal and serotonin will have been completely restored in around two weeks. 25 days is perfectly fine.

This is not necessarily accurate. Synaptic levels may return to normal levels within two weeks, but there is no way to measure the amount of serotonin stored in the storage vesicles from which MDMA releases serotonin. This could actually take many years to return to the levels one had before ever taking MDMA unless precursors such as 5-HTP are taken. The fact that serotonin production is completely dependent on a precursor (L-tryptophan) that is easily outcompeted by other amino acids for absorbtion across the blood-brain-barrier makes replenishment of serotonin very slow. 25 Days is definitely better than weekly of course, but that can still cause each experience to be somewhat less significant than the previous over time. Frequent use can also lead to downregulation of receptors and other neuroadaption which can negatively impact one's ability to roll regardless of available serotonin. SWIM's recommendation regarding time between MDMA usage would be: use as rarely as possible, maybe a couple times a year at most.
After reading all of this, SWIM has realized that physically, the body only needs around a month to replenish most nutrients, but on a mental level, SWIM should only do it a handful of times. Thanks for all the advice! and SWIM will definitely stay below 5 times a year
