Hello, nevermind my nick here, it's from homage/curiosity rather than experience. This seems even a bit ironic, SWIM guesses. SWIM smokes weed pretty much everyday but today he got some powerful buds which made him very happy.
![]() Well to the point, SWIM has got 40g powdered green San Pedro. SWIM has bought LSA from the same source and while the experiences were painful the product was good quality. SWIM has taken other substances and overall he has a lowish tolerance. He's a small guy. He usually likes to trip alone and it would be very hard for him to find a sitter, nevermind a trustworthy or experienced one. But again, he actually prefers to enjoy the experiences alone because many times trips were ruined because of people with 'bad vibes', if you know what SWIM means. SWIM has been waiting for a while because he does not want to disrespect San Pedro (SWIM is very respectful of those teachers) by rushing into the experience with a wrong set and setting. SWIM has been very depressed for a long time, and frankly is hoping he will learn something from the experience, since it's highly regarded as a medicine. SWIM wonders if this is a good approach. Right now SWIM feels a little bit better and is beginning to think that SP could really help in some aspects and beliefs that are not helping him. SWIM lives in the city, but he has access to a beautiful beach and a nice park with nature, trees, birds, the whole lot, which are very close to home. Would it be advisable for SWIM to go out? At which time, the comedown? Wouldn't the peak be too much outdoors? He definitely does not want to be puking in public. He plans it to be on a sunny day with blue skies which are (fortunately) still common where SWIM lives. SWIM would like to know if he should try the whole 40gs, or first just a a taste of 20g, or would it be a waste? SWIM would also like to know the best way to down the powder. It seems like quite the task. Does cannabis help with this? Does it enhance or overpower the trip? SWIM has read reports and most of them involve puking but overall a very insightful worthwhile trip if conducted in the best ways. In SWIY's opinion what would be the best ways (speaking of set and setting)? Would now (a time of truce between me and depressive thoughts) be appropriate? SWIM knows he might have to face some things he won't like, but he is very optimistic about learning something he can apply to his own life. Swim thinks it would be okay for swiy to be outside during the peak. In swim's experiences, if he hasn't thrown up by the time he's come up (around the 3 hour mark) then he won't throw up. Swiy should definitely do at least 30g, or else swiy will be left with little more than a speedy feeling. At doses around 40g, swim didn't feel overwhelmed at all to be outside.

Considering you are planning on going solo, there's no reason not to do a series of experiments, starting at a low dose, and taking more on subsequent occasions. It's easier to get a handle on how a plant is going to effect you when you start with a sub-therapeutic dose. You've all the time in a life to do this, no reason to rush. Never know if you might react badly to something.
Sasha Shulgin, when he creates a new substance, will take it starting at a single nanogram, and go from there over time, rooting out the very thresholds of the experience, protecting himself from harm. See how you feel, always keep your plans tentative, evaluate your ability to leave the house when the time comes, if you've done other things, you should know how to evaluate your mental state, body control, appropriateness.
