Preparing oxycontin to drink

Is there a way to extract or dissolve the oxycontin from say a 20 mg tab in order to drink in order to get the fullest effect?

most Oxycontin tabs are filled with just Oxycodone and a few inert binders. unless its in a tab that has apap but swim is not sure there are any tabs of that sort.

Oxycodone dissolves readily in water, like all opiates, so the simplest way would be to do a cold water extraction. An extraction could also be done with chloroform, were the chloroform/ oxycodone solution could be left out so as to allow the chloroform to evaporate fully. This would leave you with solid, pure oxycodone which you could add to water if you wanted to drink it without the perversion of the solution by any miscible compounds in the tab
