Experiences - Bad experience first time on BZP & Amfetamine

Swim tried Ecstasy for the first time a few nights ago. Swim learned afterwards that the pills were composed of BZP and Speed. Swim took two pills the whole night: a half initially, a half 30 minutes later, and then a whole an hour after that. Swim was also smoking a good amount of cannibus during the first two and a half hours.

Swim was having an amazing time for the first two and a half hours. He was having good experiences and good hallucinations. He was enjoying the music. His roommate, an experienced E user had also done two pills almost right off the bat. He started to close his eyes and "roll." Swim decided to do the same.

After a couple of good rolls, Swim felt VERY dizzy. Swim felt like he was going to pass out. Swim could even envision himself passing out. The voices and music felt faint as if Swim was half concious. A few instances of Swim seeing black for a half second occurred.

Swim became very scared and frightened. He felt as though that if he passed out, he would die because Swim heard all the rumors that people die on E from either bad pills or allergic reactions. Swim also recalled several instances of "people holding on and staying awake so that they do not die." Swim tried to do the same. He forced himself to walk around and stay alert. He went out in the cold weather. He kept drinking water and trying to move around. His heart was racing and then it started to ache like he was going to have a heart attack. Swim became paranoid about this as well.

Swim's roommate told him to relax and that he wasn't going to pass out and that this was "normal." He wanted to Swim to sit down in a comfortable leather chair and relax. Swim felt that he would pass out ofr sure if he sat down. This whole frightening experience lasted about an hour and a half. It was agonizing. After that passed, Swim gradually started to feel okay and peaceful. The comedown was pretty good for Swim.

Overall, Swim enjoyed Ecstasy and would like to do it again, however, that experience cannot be ignored. Was Swim's life in danger? Is it possible Swim is allergic to E and should never do it again? What caused the experience that happened to Swim? Please help! Thanks!

First of all it is vital to note that what your subject took was not Ecstasy. A halfway decent dealer would not even describe it as an E. It was a pill, nothing more.

To be an E it would have to contain at least some MDMA, to be truly classed as Ecstasy it would have to have MDMA as it's only active ingredient.

Your subject basically had a panic attack from the combination of powerful & dirty stimulants contained in the pill. Unless very unlucky or b) he had an existing heart complaint he was in no immediate danger of dying, although there have been reports of seizures resulting from high dose Piperazine ingestion, & Amfetamines are also known to lower seizure threshold in some people. Paranoia & heavy body-load has been reported with both BZP & Amfetamines, so the combination will not make for a comfortable ride.

The effects described are not normal for MDMA.

Swim should note that except for that hour and a half on the pill, he had a great time. He felt the rushes of Serotonin in his head, he felt very ancy and excited at first. He felt the music and his sense of touch was greatly enhanced. Swim also felt feelings of peace, tranquility and relaxation on the comedown.

Did the marijuana have anything to do with Swim's experience on E? What is E like without cannabis?

Also, if Swim was in no danger of dying and just had a panic attack, then why did Swim feel like he was going to collapse? Why did the voices and the music feel faint and muffled like Swift was only half concious? Why did Swim's eyelids feel so heavy and hard to keep open? (It's supposed to be impossible to sleep on E)

Again, it was not an E, it was a random pill.

Please do some reading on the effects of BZP & amfetamines, as well as the physical & psychological effects of panic attacks.

As this does not relate to MDMA at all , temporarily closed until I've had me tea & can move it to a more appropriate venue.
