Meditate. take deep breaths and stare at a blank wall. focus on your chakras as you go to sleep at night to help visualize your body with your mind. and swim says to smoke a few bowls to potentially enhance the effectiveness of this approach.

SWIM finds when he smokes he does not dream. (Atleast he remembers nothing the next day..) When SWIM does not smoke cannabis he notices a distinct increase in dreams (that he remembers the next day.)
If SWIM would like longer and more vivid dreams, perhaps take a break from cannabis, or do not go to sleep stoned. SWIM only advises based on personal experience. Meditation is also phenomenal for dreaming - as the above poster said. Breathe deeply and try to clear your mind. There's lot's of information available on meditation.. |

swim has crazy dreams after a night of smoking, he cant ever remember them, he just knows it was fucked up by very vivid memories of a few bits, if you get what I mean.

I remember when SWIM had aprox. two years ago started to toke almost every day, the first few weeks we would have crazy vivid dreams but later they disapeared and had no dreams at all.

As others have said, our stoner friends all report a decrease in dreaming quality and dream recall while habitually smoking. We would therefore suggest taking a break from cannabis for the purposes of dreaming.
Keep a dreamjournal as well, immediately upon waking every morning write down as much as one can remember about the night's dreams, after a while of this (a month or so for us) lucidity and dream recall increase by an incredible amount. SWIY's mileage may vary. |

swims experiences found that smoking doesn't make dreams longer but just far more clear and sometimes more weird
