Need Help Don't know What to do RE: Quitting Amphetamines

Doctor 1: Noted psychopharmacologist from U.C.L.A. Says SWIM has possibly done permanant damage from years of amphetamine use and the only way to can get off the stimulants is by taking the following cocktail:

(Norpramin) Desipramine 25 mg. 2 x's daily
Lithium 300 mg. 2 x's daily
(Guanfacine) Tenex 1 mg 2 x's daily
Sinemit (Carbidopa-Levo 10-100) 1 x daily
Zyprexa 5 mg. 1 x daily
Klonopin 2 mg. daily

SWIM would taper 120 mg Adderall by 20 mg. daily - 6 day taper

Doctor 2: 12 week taper, 10 mg. a week. Swim is on 30 mg. Cymbalta and 2 mg. Klonopin presently. Doctor 2 would add no other drugs.

SWIM doesn't know what to do. SWIM has been on so many psych meds in the past and the side-effects are horrible. SWIM has to quit soon b/c SWIM is going psycho just wanting this whole bad dream to be over! But psych meds are very easy to start, and very difficult to stop. This is all about withdrawals. Does SWIM go on 6 drugs to go off 1 drug, only then to have to withdraw from all the other drugs? SWIM needs advice.
