Potentiation of Methadone

Can anyone advise SWIM as to ways in which to get more benefit out of his methadone script, i.e. common ways with which to potentiate its effects?

Swim is wondering the same. The only thing swim has heard bout was grapefruit juice. Is Supposed to increase the Plasma of methadone due to a enzyme, CYP450 inhibition i believe it is. Swim has never actuly tried it but was curious and might make an experament out of it. Curious of others as well though

SWIM has tried the GFJ method the last couple of days (45 mins before consumption).
He thinks it has had some effect, but that could also be because the methadone levels have been increasing in SWIM's body. He has only been on it for a week.
He is surprised there are no common potentiation methods, seeing as it is a widely used opioid. I suppose obvious ways would be alcohol, benzos, cannabis or herbals, but could be pretty risky as well.

Alcohol can be fatal used with methadone. dont combind the two. it is the same with benzo's. Swim has heard a bunch of ppl using those with methadone but, again, can be very dangerous combined so swim wouldn't recomend that either. What swim does want tho, would be something that increases the methadone and the methadone ONLY. those other meds/drugs previously mentioned by swiy maybe mess u up more but they dont increase the plasma concentrate of the done. Swim found although that weed mixed with it does give swim a boost halfway through the day. swim smokes usualy near the end of the day when swim needs a lil booster and it works pretty well for swim. swim not sure if it increases the meth. levels and very highly doubs it since swim has reasearched this topic before. Swim would recomend trying the GFJ method again once your methadone levels become stable. try w/o it one day and then drink it the other. At least GFJ seems safe as opposed to those other methods. Swim hasn't heard of anybody Overdosing on methadone and Grapefruits.

There's probably no RIGHT way of doing it, but is taking it 45 minutes or so before SWIM takes his meth likely to be most effective? Or maybe 15 mins after he's taken it?
Are weed and GFJ really the best that can be done? Another thread mentions stomach meds and potassium. Are these likely to work?
When SWIM first started doing kratom and poppy straw he found that cannabis had a wonderful synergy with such drugs. He imagines that it would be exactly the same with meth, however he's done nearly a year without it and doesn't really want to start again just yet. When he used to combine it with kratom/poppies he would smoke it all day to maintain the high. Maybe he should follow SWIY's method, and use it as a booster at the end of the day.
