Experiences - Your first experience with Amphets/Methyl

swim wants to know about other people's interaction with amphetamines. had swiy tried other drugs before? had swiy taken them for add/adhd? what was swiy's first recreational use of them?

swim will go first:

swim has always taken ritalin/adderal on and off for add, and when she was 16 she finally realized they were much more than she always thought of them as. she crushed and snorted a few concerta's, but since that is notoriously impossible she was discouraged. she grabbed a couple 10mg ritalin ir's, crushed those suckers, threw in some warm water and a cotton ball and shot up (she had syringes from medication for rheumatoid arthritis). she was hooked. she loved staying up all night, her heart racing, her body's adrenaline rush at the thought of another "batch". she had only ever tried weed before, but was too paranoid on it. alcohol had been a bit of a problem the previous summer, but she had gotten past that.

swim is now doing a detox from her usual 35mg amphetamine and 120mg methylamphetamine combo, hoping to lower tolerance and focus on school while waiting for new syringes in the mail. swim does not regret her choice to abuse amphetamines.

SWIM was 14, had only had minimal experience with alcohol and pot. He got a 54mg Concerta from a friend that didn't like taking his meds. He Split off the outer coating and crushed it up as well as he could and snorted all of it(including the green part, he was stupid then) at around 1AM. The next few hours were incredible. He spent the night sitting in a chair listening to loud dance music on headphones. He could feel the bass and drums throbbing through his viens and the melodies were fluttering around in his chest, his whole body was vibrating with energy, he had never felt anything like it. He had never felt to happy or felt to blissful and content. His thoughts were racing and he was just stuck in the moment listening to music. He was really drug naive then, so the euphoria was just so unexpected and profound. Even when he's done really high doses since then, nothing really compares to the first time.

It was instantly addictive too. I mean SWIM didn't turn into some speedfreak overnight, he has enough self control. But every since then, every day he has had cravings for ADD pills.

Nowadays SWIM has a Concerta script. Most days, he just takes them as prescribed because he just can't stand the thought of going a day without them.
