Opinions - K holing for fun?

Hi- Swim has read that a lot of the people on here seem to do k specifically in order to k hole. This interests him as in his friendship groups k-holing is normally seen as a bad thing, like an 'overdose' on k. Swim is interested to find out what creates this difference in attitudes.

Swim has only k holed once and did not really enjoy it, but he is thinking maybe this is because he was in a pub with lots of people laughing and staring! Therefore he would like to try to enter the k hole in a comfortable, private place with just a few close friends to see if he enjoys the experience.

So I guess swim is asking a) what creates the differences in attitudes towards k holing, and b) why do a lot of swimmers enjoy k-holing so much, does a create a more spiritual, psychedelic experience?
