How long is THC detectable in Hair (Head /Body)?

Difficult to say... how much cannabis did Someone Who Isn't You smoke back March '08?(Please don't self Incriminate, use SWIM or some such 3rd person narrative) Unfortunately, THC can be detected for up to 3 years after the last time a person smoked, but I think that would depend on how much the person smoked.

Please provide a source for this claim. As nearly a year has passed I would be very surprised if any thc were detectable, especially as the hair has been kept short. If hair were long, then yes, there would be a chance that thc would be detected. A full body shave will only arouse suspicion unless your monkey is a professional swimmer or cyclist.

Would it be THAT bad for SWIY if they found trace amounts of THC? This job offer happen to be Law Enforcement? If so, I hope you didnt lie on your app or you are 100% fucked my friend.

SWIM tested for LE. They found trace amounts of meth, weed, coke and a few others in SWIM. For the agency he was working for it was no problem, infact they were glad to have a officer who wasnt straight laced and at least knew the street. SWIM isnt a agent but works in the health care aspect of tactical LE.

Just tell SWIY to say he went to a party, got a bit out of hand, bunch of people were smoking and he breathed it in. If SWIY is lying about the amount done and how often, hair tests will reveal. Just keep it short and trim. Good luck!

Oh I agree about the head hair and all that... but I have no idea how long it would be detectable with body hair. My source was this: A commercial lnk

Since I didn't know all the specifics (how much was smoked last year, or how long THC can be detected with body hair) I wanted to dole out a potential worst case scenario (better safe than sorry kind of thing).

OK, sorry about that. That's actually why I didn't post the source initially before you asked. Anyway, I found another that may be more reliable (and not commercial). I think the answer is pretty reasonable, and should provide some comfort to the OP.

Because they generally only take samples of 3-5 cm of head hair (which swiy doesn't have) THC is usually only detectable for 90 days or so. Once again though, I'm not certain about the body hair.

I'm not sure what the tolerance limits are for this company. All I know is that swim got a job offer that begins right after swim graduates (in May). They sent swim an email saying swim needs to take a drug test (hair sample). That is all the specifics they gave swim. Should swim try getting tested by himself (paying for it) just to see what the results are?

SWIM thinks that swiy does not need to worry about it that much. it has almost been a year and how SWIY keeps his hair are good factors. SWIM heard that it was three years also but that was for people who smoked all the time. But it seems that the link said 90 days and 3 hits isnt that much, so SWIM thinks it is a great chance that this test will be positive.
