Question Will taking some Ambien hurt swim's battle
This swim has been on asteady diet of 110mgs oxy a day for 7 1/2 years.Currently swim has just started day #7 free of any oxy.Swim has your basic symptons no sleep,extremely uncontrollable urges to move body parts sometimes violenty.Dr. gave swim Ambien CR.Swim took 3 last night.Still no sleep till between 5&6 am. Did notice a little less of that crazy body thing.Question is the Ambien going to prolong swims W/D process?...Thanks for any help

Ambiens isn't opiate based, so you're not adding to the withdrawl. Actually, benzos are recomended in easing withdrawl.

Thanks, swim hopes takes off a little stress off as swim goes back to work Sun. night w/o his helpers.

Crash is correct. Benzos are highly recommended for withdrawals. If you are still having trouble sleeping, swim has had great luck with melatonin. Just be careful to not become dependent on the ambien.
