Pain after heavy session

My Curious Orange wrote -

Quote:
Hi, I have just been on a strong alcohol & ecstacy session for 5 days, problem is, I am now having severe pain below my left rib which hurts when I try to move.

Now, my paranoid personality suggests I have internal organ damage and my passive side says I have pulled a muscle in that part of the body through laughing so much during the 5 day f***fest.

What should I do?
Anybody else with similar experience?

Thanks Jeff. (First post of many!)

Re: Pain after heavy session

SWIM used to get this a lot after long binges, never really found out the cause but he worked out it had something to do with dehydration, drinking a fair amount of water should help

**SWIM isn't a doctor, this might not help at all, or could even make it worse, best advice would be to go and see a GP**

Please re-read the rules you agreed to when signing up, specifically the one regarding self incrimination. Similar threads already exist in the appropriate forum(s) which could have helped you with this. However, no one can really be sure and only speculate so if the pain is really severe and shows no signs of going away it would be a good idea to have a check up and speak to a Doctor or similar.

Komodo - Using The Quote Button Please edit your post.

Jeff, please pay attention to the Rules. Komodo is correct, it is impossible to say what has happened & if it is causing distress it should be checked by a professional. However the likelihood of it being a pulled intercostal muscle is high.

I don't follow... I appear to have quoted the person I was referring too? Or did I miss it on this occasion and someone else has done it for me? I don't see an edit mark though!? Maybe I've missed something entirely here?
