Drug info - Adderall XR WEAK!

So, SWIM, is planning on losing weight and improving her work ethic this year. To help her out, she uses 20mg of adderall XR. The only issue is, when she takes it, she barely feels the effects, she feels slightly less hungry, but no more energetic or focused. Adderall XR is all that's available to her, so evidently it's slightly dissapointing. She has even taken two 20mg, same thing, she's snorted, parachuted and taken them orally, the good old fashioned way and still feels very little. They're the orange tablets that say Adderall, 20mg, so she knows they're legit, but not quite sure what else to do. Any advice would be helpful.
