Combinations - Have you tried pot and salvia 2gether?

Hello everyone, I'm doing some research about Salvia, and I want to know from people that has tried, how does it feel to smoke cannabis and salvia at the same time. Is it stronger? is it the same?

Any experience welcomed.

Many times SWIM tried salvia without any effects, but when SWIM was sitting a friend doing it he seemed totally unable to even move properly, let alone smoke weed. SWIM's been told it "brings back" the experience (such as in smoking after lsd), although at a less intense level. When salvia totally wears off after about 20 min its just a normal high.

Once SWIM was given weed to smoke in a pipe while he was still tripping on salvia, and not really knowing what was going on he smoked it. The weed seemed to effect him more than that amount should have, but not having the chance to try that particular weed again means that SWIM can't be sure. The salvia definitely seemed to have some lingering effects that were longer and more intense than usual.

Going from a salvia trip into an unexpectedly intense marijuana high (that was still quite trippy) was very bizzarre for SWIM, and he got a bit confused. He remembers giving £1 to a tramp that asked for change, then giving £2 when the tramp realised he's hit the jackpot and asked for more.

SWIM is a big fan of this combo, one of his favourite methods would be to mix the salvia roughly 2:1 with some very nice kief (the crystals from weed) and smoke through a good quality bong.

It seems to prolong the effects, you trip hard on the salvia, but then rather then just coming back down 15 minutes later, you gradually float back down to being stoned over the course of 30 minutes or so

Oh, and for best results a strong extract is needed.

That was not because SWIY smoke weed and salvia at the same time, it was because the salvia was in a spliff, as opposed to pipe or bong. If SWIY has managed to get a salvia high from a joint with just salvia, then the reason he didn't that time was because it took longer to smoke the same amount.

That would probably be because to get the salvia high, SWiY needs to hold the smoke in longer than marijuana smoke usually would be.

SWIM tried the combo once. About half salvia and half cannabis in a bowl. Salvia didn't seem to have the usual mind-warping effects, SWIM just felt giddy and experienced mild visuals. The effects passed like a normal cannabis high would, not like how salvia wears off very rapidly after five minutes or so. The combo made the cannabis seem stronger but the salvia seem milder. A good experience all-round. That said, SWIM has only tried this once so I guess those effects could vary.

to get the best effects from the salvia and weed combination- a 20x extract smoked at a ratio of 2:1 with some good quality skunk through a soap-stone head bong will take you to a different world for 10 minutes (if you can try to remove the water from the bong to increase the strength- careful it is hotter though!). swim has appeared to transcend through time and space! good tripping

swim has done it once, it heightened the effect and seemed to make the salvia last longer with more out of it after effects

Swim has smoked weed immediately after coming out of the most intense part of the salvia trip, Swim didn't really get high but was in the middle of a forest and felt so at one with nature. Swim felt very calm after wards and quite enjoyed it, however this was mostly down to the environment the weed defiantly added to the experience.

SWIM smoked a J jusr right before or after a salvia trip and fro SWIm it was great.
the mild after trip lasted much longer.

a combo of half a bowl of weed/savlia would probably not work so great...

Yes, AFOAF did this last summer. She added a pinch of Bali kratom too. It was moderately intense for about 2 hours then she was left with just a kind of draggy feeling. Not unpleasant but not pleasant either. She likes to try new things but seems to always return to the opiates. It just depends on what you are looking for. I think she said this would be good for at night, listening to some music, and then going to bed.

swim smoked weed once before smoking salvia and the salvia totally over-powered the weed and he couldnt even feel it, even when the trip ended he didnt feel high from the weed.
another time he smoked right after coming down from a salvia tripand he felt really weird, he felt very dissacociated from it.
so swim doesnt mix the 2 anymore.

Swim enjoys smoking MJ with some 5x or 10x Salvia put on top (in a pipe). it adds to the overall high, without being overwhelming (unlike higher extracts). it gives more of a headrush when you exhale, and seems to potentiate the experience (vs. just MJ). It also adds a bit of a more happy feeling. Swim would also recommend trying smoking 1 bowl of MJ first, THEN the MJ/Salvia mix after. it's less of an immediate feeling of the Salvia, Swim usually prefers this way.

Swim always smokes weed before taking Salvia. It makes no difference to the trip itself, but it puts Swim in a much more relaxed state so that the leap from reality to Salvia land wont be so harsh.
