How long does vicodin keep

I found a bottle of vicodins in my parent's medicine cabinet, but its from 1998. Will they still work?

if they were in the prescription bottle they should work, i've used an old bottle of vicoprofen before. try 2 or 3 to start and if they make u sick or nothing happens throw em away. good luck.
