Opinions - Low-dose effects of ketamine

Hi,

So far I've had five ketamine IV sessions at the hospital to treat hyperalgesia
(I've been taking oxycodone for a year and half due to very strong pains and
it just didn't work anymore). Ketamine worked like a charm, I've been able
to lower my daily oc dosage from 250mg to 50mg with the same efficiency.
However, I've repeatedly experienced strange effects (every time with
50mg ketamine injected in two hours) : I often cried and felt very sensitive to other
people's emotions, I felt like I could see what was going on in other people's mind,
like I could easily understand all their emotions.
It was really weird (and hard to explain with words), is it something "normal" while under ketamine's influence ?

Not unusual low dose ketamine is a powerful empathogen similar to MDMA. SWIM was able to reconnect to dozens of old friends some of whom he had fall outs with. Also befriending strangers became very easy.

Not that these are necessarily good things.

Ketamine can be very revealing and profound emotionally, and you can really examine yourself in a new light that can be useful to when you are sober. However, a lot of it gets lost in the confusion if you just take loads... perhaps its just opening you up a bit emotionally?
