How many people can get high: 1 gr. opium

SWIM has been smoking weed for quite some time, never felt the urge to jump to anything new, but it takes SWIM forever to get high anymore. Tolerance is a bitch.

With opium, is there like, "dank" (great stuff) and "schwagg" (shitty stuff), or whats the 'slang' for it.

If SWIM is going to try to buy some opium, what should he do? I mean, how much does he need, how much will that cost, etc. Would it be easy for someone who knew he had never smoked it before to 'rip him off' by giving him something that isnt opium, thinking he wouldnt know?

Perhaps a silly question, but how many people can get 'high' off a gram?



Lets say, two friends and I wanted to try opium for our first times,
what ammount would you suggest us buying? What would you suggest to do
to consume it. Smoke it, eat it, what?



Would a gram be enough for three people?

yeah, a gram should suffice even if it's not all that great, about .25
of a gram of decent opium should get you pretty good and zonked, SWIM's
done about up to a gram and felt really good, but he had a bit of a
tolerance at the time, so i don't recommend you try a gram, a good
starting dose would be about 1/8-1/4 a gram per head. if it's not
enough, you can always smoke a little bit more if you got it, and in
your case, you should have enough for like .33 grams per head.

How should he smoke it? He has a nice glass pipe for smoking weed, but
won't the opium just kind of melt in it, even drip through a screen if
he decides to use one?

well, for your first time,SWIM wouldhighly recommend you smoke it alone just
to get a feel for the high you get and such, but yeah, after that you
should definitely smoke it on some weed, which brings me to your next
question . . . when smoking it alone, SWIM wouldn't do it in a glass bowl,
it'll mostly likely melt/get pulled through, and if it gets pulled
through into your mouth, it'll burn like some shit cause it stays lit
for awhile. SWIM makes little aluminum foil pipes when he smokes
straight opium, and he finds that to work pretty good. don't
smoke opium in a water bong though unless you plan on drinking the bong
water cause opiates are VERY water soluble. some people find that
putting it on the end of a pin or some such thing and burning it and
sucking in the smoke works for them, but he'll leave that to you to
decide.

Well, shit. SWIM is not going to do it in aluminum foil, that seems a
little 'too sketchy' for me. Is there anything he can make? What if he
double, or tripple up on the screens for the pipe? My friend has a
metal pipe we could use...

set the dope on some ashes in your bowl. Ive never done opium, but thats what u do for crack so it dont fall through or gum up your screen.

Anyone else have any suggestions on ways to smoke it? SWIM never has ash
in his bowl, and he normally scrapes the resin from the bowl and smoke
that with some bud, so my pipe is pretty clean...

swim finds smoking it to be very harsh and unless you really know what you're doing, quite awaste. swim always found that the best way to get off was to make a tea. swim, so has always been quite opiate tolerant would put a gram into a small pot with about 8 oz of water and boil it at low heat for about half an hour , let it cool and drink it all down as fast as he could. the taste was horrible, but the buzz quite good, just slow to come on, maybe 40 mins to an hour. but often acompanied with serious stomach cramps for the first 20 minutes. but then off to nod land...always way better than smoking and coughing his lungs out.

Ok. Opium. I always had it from my own plants. Either extracted from the dried pods or dried latex. I found out that smoking that was a waste. You can totally forget about smoking op from dried pods and the self harvest doesnt do much. So ...


Either make a tea from it (.25 gr should be agood start, you can always dose higher ...)


If oyu smoke it, you will do best with foil. Take some, make sure nothing can run over the edge. It will become kind of fluid and run down fast. Take an empty toilet paper roll to inhale, this way you wont miss much of the smoke).Edited by: bogumil

SWIM tried it for the first time recently, my friend and SWIM each, .5 gr of black tar. You have to smoke it down for a while, it burns a lot slower than weed. SWIMS did it straight without mixing it with anything. A great high.

The best and easiest way to smoke it I find is in any pipe, just load your screen, then a bit of ash/tobacco/weed just to make a cushion for the opium. Then put your lump of O on that. Works great and any liquid flowing will be absorbed in the cushion, don't forget to hit that when it looks like all your O is gone!

I prefer not to use foil, it can cause brain damage if used often. I would suggest using a light bulb, since the glass is thin and heats up quickly. However, the lightbulb gets very hot, so I would suggest that you don't hold it with your hands.

Lightbulbs are good, hold it a little above a candle and when the opium starts bubbling too quickly, lift it away from the flame.

Opium is not really brought into Western countries to any great degree due to the fact that it gives off a pungent odour which sniffer dogs can route out quite easily. It is also quite bulky. Off
Heroin on the other hand is odourless, and also traffickers get a lot more money for that product.

Because of this any opium that you may come across tends to be
home-produced, harvested from plants grown from seed after being sown in private gardens and allotments.

Due to local conditions, the weather, method of harvesting etc, there can be a great deal of difference in the quality of O

how many people? well that depends on the quality of the opium. if one were to use the "cooked opium" method which i have posted then SWIM would probably think that 10 people could get well off tap on that.

Use a jet styled lighter and don't let the flame touch the glass. it will smoke up rather slowly and if you are using the cooked version it smokes up sort of like heroin by liquefying and vaporizing. This is what I have viewed SWIM do on many occasions and seems to be the most effective method for either gum or cooked opium which one has seen.
