Two false positives on one test?

SWIM get's drug tested regularly and has some bad news on one of his latest tests. It turns out that he tested positive for Marijuana, Downers and Uppers. Marijuana was the only drug he had used for the time being and was the only one that should of showed up positive. This was the first test where he was being watched intensely so SWIM being a little pee shy barely filled the cup past the required line. Could this have affected the outcome?

Could alcohol trigger a false positive for downers? As for uppers SWIM has no idea what could have set that off.

The results are from a lab so SWIM really has no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible, but highly unlikely..

Was their any other medications involved? Prescribed/Over the counter??

Nothing that SWIM could remember. Maybe some Tylenol or something but SWIM even doubts that.

Turns out SWIM tested positive for opiates, amphetamines, and marijuana. SWIM hasn't touched an opiate in a long time. Amphetamines were taken after the test but not in a while before.

It turns out that the lab only does the EMIT and then disposes of the urine. Ironically the paper I got giving me my results strongly recommends another test of the urine for confirmation and definite answers...

UPDATE: SWIM pissed in a cup later that day because he knew he'd be using other substances that wouldn't look good on a test. SWIM kept this urine(he just placed it in a room, no special storing) and used it on his next test. This test came back clean for everything except Marijuana which is accurate.

Could this be used as an argument that SWIM was clean? SWIM is even pretty sure that it was the next urine of the day after that original test. Could it be argued against SWIM that the urine wouldn't be accurate since it wasn't stored properly?

SWIM would appreciate any help ASAP.
