SWIM has been doing nitrous for a few years now and so far the highs keep getting better. But until a few months ago, SWIM had never got closed eye visuals. SWIM he had a balloon, everything normal, but this time when he closed his eyes and this appeared. This is very hard to paint a picture but i will do my best.
Imagine blackness all around, in the center a circle of black and white rectangles, all layered up, every line of rectangles each going a different way to the line of rectangles above it, in the middle a small circle of black, and one line away from the outer circle, a line eyes, as if they were cut out from a magazine, the same pair of eyes is copied all around to make a circle and is spinning the same as the rectangles. Then SWIM heard someone say cat in a song, and a black cartoon cat sitting up appeared and started spinning around in time with everything else, its about that time that SWIM realised he was getting visuals on nitrous, and he remembers thinking he couldnt wait to tell his friend, then his friend appeared next to then cat, again he was like a cutout and he spun in the same direction as the cat. Then he came to and was very happy. Im not if i described that well enough but its kinda hard. I think maybe you visuals alot on nitrous but you never usually remember them. Has SWIY ever had any visuals like that, after taking only nitrous? |

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
My sloth tends to get a lot of auditory hallucinations, but no real visual ones, other than mild distortions and lights appearing more scintillating.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
SWIM had visuals after about 8 cartridges of n2o. When I closed my eyes I could see myself diving in some really clear waters full of nice stuff and colours, like the things you see on the telly. I dived inside and could reach out and touch the bottom of this ocean. Another thing I saw was my ex's house and my apartment building glued together in some Salvador Dali-like setting. Crazy shit I tell you.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
swiC never used to get visuals on nitous alone but after many nights combining with mushrooms and 2c's he now gets very strong visuals on nitrous alone but now dissociation is less common. or at least swiC doesnt remember dissociating anymore. its hard to be sure with nitrous.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
swim wishes he could get cev's, although swim only takes it because he loves the auditory hallucinations and the euphoric rush you get.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
SWIM tried Nos with 2c-i last week. Epic combo! the room became elongated and began to twist and bend
also everything went purple. very fun indeed.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
SWIM recently had a terrifically intense experience on nitrous oxide; he considers it the strongest hallucination he has had to date, even rivalling what he saw on his best Salvia trip. Note: SWIM had been speeding for 2 days already and in that time had not eaten anything except for a relatively large amount of Salvia some 20 minutes earlier.
A friend of his suggested the idea of doing 3 balloons in rapid succession of one another, each filled with the contents of 2 cartridges. Put into practice this meant: a third mate fills a balloon for SWIM and his friend which they hold until the next 2 are prepared which said mate holds tight as SWIM and partner depart, travel, arrive; when in the process of returning the second balloon is handed over and the ones just used are quickly filled up once more; first steps are then repeated. Now, the first balloon was what one would expect. The second brought on a flashback. Upon returning SWIM felt terribly euphoric, shaking hands with the person that handed him the third balloon, saying he could, in a minute, do as many as he wished for free (the only cartridges there, were payed for by SWIM, you see). This third balloon was something else. It made SWIM feel as if he was nothing more than a consciousness i.e. a mind sans body. He didn't feel as if he had left his body; there was simply no recollection of ever having had one. It didn't take long before SWIM witnessed what can best be described as an energetic ocean, radiating with the most brilliant colors (the most dominant being that color the sky has on a bright day when the sun goes down). In the midst of this field appeared, or, possibly, was there already when SWIM first laid eyes on this sea (SWIM can't remember), a woman-like head. 'Woman-like', since some of its features one could hardly call human. SWIM distinctly remembers the cheekbones sticking relatively far out and seeming unnaturally wide (it reminded him of the ants' faces from the film Antz (1998)). In addition, the head (that's right, by the way, just a head, no body to be seen) did not have any hair. Instead, there were these 4 to 5 dreadlock-like tresses (they resembled those the alien in Species (1995) has, though looking far less organic, almost metalic rather) reaching to where one would have expected to find a neck. SWIM recalls seeing it talk but does not remember what was said. In fact, SWIM is in doubt if he ever heard a voice at all. Then, suddenly, two fairly straight, vertical lines/cracks appeared in the face and from each sprang a yellowish-bright-white-and-orange radiation. The latter had the shape and density of a circular saw, the edges were, however, pulsating with rays that shot out and retracted. It cannot have taken more than a second or two before the cracks had split open completely, covering the whole of the face. SWIM nearly lost his mind when the cracks appeared, completely unexpected, unanounced. Not that he felt much fright, it was more like lapsing into a sort of shock due to being taken completely off guard as everything went from blissful serenity to violent destruction in no more than the blink of an eye. When SWIM arrived back home he found his body spastically crawling on a bed, clawing at the wall, screaming that there was 'a fire'. The bulk of his friends looked at what was happening with noticeable unease, only one of them seemed amused by that little scene. As soon as SWIM saw the look on their faces, he got himself under control again, leaped off the bed, greatly agitated started talking (almost screaming again) about 'a woman and energy, and an ocean of radiation and fire, and how this had been the most potent hallucination he had ever had, and that he had never gone as 'deep' as that', all the while frantically looking for his pack of cigarettes. After finding it he went to sit outside for a bit, smoking, trembling slightly. There was no real panic or any sort of negative feeling about what had just happened. SWIM simply felt in complete awe, was filled with amazement and wonder, could hardly wrap his mind around what he had just seen in combination with his body's actions upon returning to planet Earth. SWIM feels that the only thing that can hold a candle to the above experience, in terms of intensity that is (the hallucination an sich beats any other SWIM's had; at least so far), is his first Salvia trip. Dear all: appy-polly-logies for making this so long. SWIM's speeding and, as a consequence, his fingers are simply swirling across the keyboard. So it goes. |

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
Swim used to get them from DXM, closed eye ones anyway. He hasn't ever gotten any off nitrous. =[ He misses being able to trip on DXM without mass vomiting. Nitrous doesn't last long enough and it isn't as 'trippy' to swim, although much more euphoric.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
Once when going to a new dentist as a child, SWIM was given what was apparently far, far too much nitrous. She "saw" a spinning, multicolored vortex thing with little "germs" dressed in white dr's coats that were ripping her clothes off her. While it was a scary thing to see, SWIM remembers enjoying it very much.
This wasn't the first time she'd had dentist nitrous, either, not by a long shot. She's always enjoyed it but that time was extreme. She was 10 at the time, btw. ![]() So my conclusion is yes--with enough nitrous, a person can fully hallucinate...visuals included. |

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
Little Red Dinosaur occasionally gets quite nice visuals from Nos, he tends to use the cracker with 2 charges, get as much in his lungs as possible, and the rest into a baloon, he will hold in his first hit for as long as possible, breathe it into the baloon with the rest of the nos and then breathe in the mixed contents of the baloon. After a few cycles, leaning back with his eyes shut depending on the background music can create very nice pulsating visuals. Generally he only sees in primary colours, normally bright reds and blues, and more often than not in time with music.
Without music the visuals tend to be more based on his heart rate. Little red dinosaur has a very large lung capacity and is well adept at holding his breath which may be a good aid in achieving visuals. His one main piece of advice is to not breathe in too rapidly with the nos if you want to achieve visuals, getting in a trance-like state with long slow breaths really helps centre the mind and prolong the feeling of a trip. |

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
'zackly. it got to teh point for swim where he would start hyperventilating and relaxing (mind, body, jaw) before getting on the tanks and as a result during his peak use of the stuff could sometimes relax to a point where it wasnt the same but faintly similar. and he had hella visuals. entities mostly. it started with awesome ideas and new words, then evolved.

Re: Visuals on nitrous?
Sometimes swim doesn't get much visuals from psychedelics, but if swim takes a nitrous balloon at some point during the trip the nitrous really sets off the visuals from there on after. it acts as a "visual aid" if you will.

Monkey has had full on mushroom style fractal cevs from n20. of course he uses medical grade directly from the tank, muh easier to reach the visual level than with crackers
