Combinations - 100mg crushed adderal rx and a 100mg line of seroquel ??

Swim crushed 100mg of adderal rx at noon, ate nothing, and at midnight snorted 100mg of seroquel. Swim feels weird...any suggestins?

Snorting adderal I can understand, but I have no idea why SWIY decided to snort seroquel. Like one couldn't get enough of that nasty drug by taking it orally.

Also you might want to be more specific. 'Weird' doesn't really tell much. What would you suggest if someone came up to you in street and asked you to help because he feels weird? You would either leave the weirdo or ask 'what do you mean exactly?'

I feel lightheaded And dizzy, my heart is pounding and the reason I snorted the seriquel was because I was told that a snort of it will makke me sleep for shorter periods but still start the sedating effect which I needed to wake up in time for work.

Basically what it comes down to is; did he take too much adderral for a first timer and is taking seriquel(mouth or nose) to go to sleep a bad idea?

If this is SWIY's first time taking Adderall then yes SWIY took way too much Adderall especially considering that SWIY took 100mg of Adderall XR.

This particular combination seems as if it would be terrible for your body and mind. Red Rock has taken Quetiapine (Seroquel) before for insomnia and he didn't previously know the mechanism of action of it, but just a quick glance at the pharmacology of Quetiapine tells SWIM that it is a Dopamine/5HT/Adrenergic receptor Antagonist. Amphetamine is a Dopamine/Adrenergic/5HT Agonist.

Red Rock hopes he does not have to point out the logic behind why this combination seems to be a bad idea (on so many levels).

I don't really understand what all of the Dopamine/5HT/Adrenergic and Dopamine/Adrenergic/5HT Agonist is about, all I can say is that SWIM had a very weird night of walking around nearly passing out and fainting but then once on a bed not capable of sleeping, YES it was Swims first time, most definitly last too. SWIM took the seroquel to try and sleep because Swim has a prescription for it but a whole pill would have possibly made SWIM a little too groggy at work today.

Thanks for the quick responses as I believe SWIM is past the worst stages of the Adderall? Close to 18 hours since the pills were first ingested?...

There was somewhere on this forum an EXCELLENT article about quetiapine's neuropharmacology, which explained why it acted only as an antihistamine at lower doses, and required big doses for antipsychotic effects. Don't know if 100mg is enough, but there are 25mg tablets too.

Glad you are ok. 100mg adderal is really big dose especially for a beginner.

SWIM used to have a few 100mg seroquil tablets. Whenever he had insomnia he'd bite off about 1/5 of a piece of the pill and that'd be enough to go to bed, and that dose would still leave him groggy in the morning. He's tried 100mg+ before, because he underestimated how potent they were, and doing that would just cause a black out.

Snorting 100mg after 100mg of Adderall is just reckless, especially with no prior experience. SWIM doesn't understand pharmacology much either, but common sense tells SWIM that it's bad idea. If SWIM where SWIY he'd just wait it out for a few days, and start doing lower doses when he does drugs he's never done before.
