Effects - What Goes well with DXM?

Aside from cannabis and alcohol. What would be something that would increase the Euphoria? Would taking Naproxen do anything?

SWIM likes to combine DXM with mushroom tea, combination's with LSD have proven to be interesting but not as synergistic.

be careful when mixing things with DXM... also if you go the DXM section swiy will see lots of info on mixing.. .or use the search engine please.. there is lots on mixing and what is good...

alot of things get potentiated by DXM or are very harmful if mixed...

only cannabis is relatively safe for swiy... anything else is risky and dangerous and should only be attempted in small amounts...

lol true but only with DXM because this bunny has lots of experience with it.. .and knows how harsh a crash from it can be because they are so rare and not easy to get from DXM that swim thinks its as hard of a crash as it is rare to get.. .pretty bad stuff to have when trying to go for the complete opposite... guess swim is being extra safe tonight lol

Chloropheniramine is a potentiator of DXM, but there are risks associated with this. Swim would recommend doing a little research first.

For very low doses of DXM (as in accordance with the label or just above), can potentiate certain opiates.

DXM, Chloropheniramine, and opiates are all metabolized via CYP2D6 (there's a lot on the forums about this). Taking these in combination with each other is likely to lead to potentiated effects (and greater potential for toxicity).

Naproxen would not do anything other than harm the liver and kidneys if taken in high doses. Red Rock highly recommends to stay away from Naproxen as it is a NSAID and not anything that will provide any type of euphoria or help increase the euphoria.

the most swim has ever taken was a twelve oz bottle and an eight oz bottle in about three hours. not really sure how much that is but it was definately the most fucked up swim has ever been

Excuse me, but if by "ecstasy" SWIY meant "Ecstasy" or MDMA, then this combination is not only dangerous (possiblity of serotonin syndrome), it may be *fatal* too. Please use the search engine or refer to DXM forum directly - this combination is covered there a few times at the least. As a general rule *never* mix Ecstasy with DXM, even separate ingestions of them should be reasonably spaced.

Yep MDMA or E with DXM a definite no no.

Nitrous oxide can mix very well with DXM, but can also make it too intense, especially if cannabis has already been consumed.

but yes. perhaps I should of put a warning... I was talking about low/mild doses of either one. not going all out. if somebody is going hard into one substance then they shouldn't be mixing them all together.

diphenydramine (unison or benadryl) will potentiate each other.
swim doesn't know the health risks but has done it a lot so it can't be too bad, but do it carefully and work them up separatly then together swiy might also want to look up health risks. it'll increase the hole trip especially the visials but swiy will get real hallucinations istead of psuedo ones so it can be really dangerous/scary.

Glad someone else was here to post it before me. I preach this one to all my raver friends.

My raver friend hasn't really tried anything in addition to DXM but would also caution against alcohol since the liver will already be stressed by everything in the DXM containing product, in addition to the DXM itself, so alcohol would only increase potential damage.
