Ayahuasca experiences

I don't know if this qualifies as a ayahuasca experience since SWIM only used Syrian rue but it was definatly a powerful experience.

First off SWIM would like to say that you must respect this plant or it will kill you. 2 weeks ago SWIM decided to make a dose of it from several ounces he bought. SWIM took 10 grams and added it to a saucepan with a cup and a half water and half a packet of kool-aid lemonade(citric acid, ascorbic acid). SWIM simmered it for 30 minutes and then filtered it and boiled it down to about a shot worth, then put it in the fridge. SWIM took the dose at 9:45pm. Around 10:30, SWIM felt it a little bit and thought that maybe he didn't add enough rue or maybe he boiled it too long. That thought soon changed. By 11:00 SWIM was definately feeling the effects powerfully. SWIM spent most of the night on my bed watching tv and having a lot of closed-eye visuals. When SWIM would get up to get a drink or use the bathroom he would stumble as if he was drunk. SWIM would have a thought or see something on tv and would feel like he was living in that concept, words can't really describe it. SWIM finally laid down at 3:00am and had trouble falling asleep. wook up at 9:00am with a very slight hanover, not unpleasant though. During the experience SWIM had slight out-of body effects and like nitrous oxide, SWIM had what some people call th wawawa's, waves of energy that feel like they are being emitted from the body. This was the second time in 6 years that he had done syrian rue. SWIM feel it is a once in a while experience.

Anyone attempting to take this plant must avoid the following at least 8 hours before taking it. Fermented foods(beer, wine, pickled anything, yeast), overripe food, like bananas, caffeine, aged food,( like cheese, salami), OTC drugs(decongestants,antihistamines, 24 hours or more before) chocolate, ephedra(24+ hours). This is not a complete list. SWIM usually fasts for about 8 hours before as well and drink lots of water. These things should also be avoided during and up to 6-8 hours after the effects have subsided to be safe. The effect last about 6 hours.

Hey guy's/girls! Any views on some of these freeze dried mail order concoctions used in preparing ayahuasca, i.e., Bi Caapi and Chakruna? Are they any good, SWIM is desperate to know - Please let us know if you do!!

I boiled the 4 grams of Syrian Rue seed powder in 3 cups of distilled water and 2 or 3 shots of RealLemon Juice...after maybe an hour of boiling, I moved the pot over and let it cool for about 5 minutes before I strained off the seed mush...I then put the liquid in a pitcher and placed it in the fridge for to cool it to where it was drinkable...

I then placed another batch of liquid (2 or 3 shots Lemon Juice and 3 cups water) in the pot and dropped in about 17 grams of the root bark...it began boiling and I went outside for a smoke. When I came back inside, I stirred the root bark and let boil for 1 and 1/2 hours

I then removed the Syrian Rue from the fridge and poured the liquid into a cup. I took a sip and I swear that it was the nastiest taste I've ever experienced in my life...it tasted exactly like the after taste that remains in your mouth after you vomit...thanks to the lemon juice I'm sure...I eventually got it down and I then took the Root bark off the stove, strained and placed in the fridge...I poured the remainder of the Syrian Rue drink into the cup and gagged it down...slowly....

I stepped out for another smoke. I then poured the Mimosa water into a cup...it was dark red slightly lighter than blood...

I smelled it first which was a bad idea. The smell reminded me of the smell of a new pair of sneakers. If you know what I mean, you know its not something you want to drink. Regardless I bagan sipping it and yes the taste was even worse than it smelled...horrible in every way...

Before I began drinking the mimosa water, I had begun feeling disorienting effects from Syrian Rue...small visual distortion and strange and heavy body high...

After only a few sips of the Mimosa, the effects were constantly increasing...I went outside to sit and smoke what would be my final cigarette of the evening...the stars were shooting and moving about in the sky...the nausea was creeping up on me slowly...I thought to myself "I might want to go back to my bedroom and spend the evening there...I can tell this is going to be a long night" I was ever-more confused and disoriented...When I stood up, it hit me like a bag of bricks...I noticed some serious tracers or trails or whatever you want to call them...I began moving my arms about and watching my "million arms" drift off from one another...even when standing still the trails and incredible vibrations fell from my entire body...looking around outside I could see that the vibrations and trails were coming from everything...I marveled at this for a few moments and staggered my way inside. It was becoming harder to walk, but not like it is when your drunk, but like your becoming heavier and maybe a little stiff...harder to move...

Back inside the kitchen, the light was on and it looked like I was looking at the world through a glass of water, clear but jumbled and messy...the indoor house plants put off amazing vibration and the entire room shook...

I gathered my things and scuttled off to my bedroom...The nausea was still increasing...I collapsed into bed and layed on my back...bed is where I remained for the entire night...

Please note that I had not drank the whole cup of Mimosa...partly because it was nasty, and partly because I just couldn't handle anymore...I tried but just could not do it...

I did not puke at all. I came close a few times...After what felt like many hours, I forced myself to stand up and retrieve some music. But I forgot why I stood up when I looked back down at my bed...I was still lying there...I was dead...My spirit was looking down at the body. I thought about it for a moment...and then jumped back into my body...my eyes were closed and I saw a myraid of images that reminded me later of the cover art for TOOL's Lateralus...I first saw the skeletal structure of a human body, then the tendens grew on and then the muscles covered the bones, followed by a black shroud with white lines, then the skin came over the body...A third eye emmerged from the fore-head..."Wow"...it glowed bright light and the body faded into the light. Then out of the darkness came jumping animals: frogs, rabbits, birds, deer...fish jumping up from rivers...I saw a giant pagoda but it had a sort of Yucatan design, there were two people standing atop the stairs...they looked at me smiling...

Shooting fast through a mad space of "rainbow vision" and flying fish...

Plants grew incredibly fast from the colors and their vines wrapped around my ankles and legs, and worked their way up my body and completely covered me....

Suddenly for no reason at all my eyes burst open...I mean they actually burst stars shot up into the ceiling fan which spread them around the room until the stars formed the night sky...I couldn't move...the bedroom was severely warping out of shape...the physical intensity of it all was so overwhelming that I began to think that "I can't bare this anymore...Just make it stop!"

I then barried my face in a pile of blankets and I blacked out...

When I "awoke", the clock read 5:42 am. I was feeling intense vibrations move from my feet up through my legs and pelvis and torso and then out through my outstretched arms and head...I had been very cold through-out the experience and crawled up under the blankets twisting and turning...I couldn't feel the pillow "is it even here". My hands could feel it but my head was like it was numb or not there...floating in a madness of infinity. I became somewhat afraid and was terrified to open my eyes and I was even more terrified to close them...the visions were not scary but I still could not bare them...

The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the morning...feeling a little disoriented. I must say that the experience was one of the most intense of my entire life...

Hi,

What great thread this is. Swim would like to commend the fantastic descriptions written thus far. They remind him of his wilder years which he shall post about soon. Swim knows the difficulty in articulating such profound personal journeys into the realm of truth and unkown.

Swim actually found this site after watching a documentary on Amazon Shaman and Ayahuasca and after reading a lot, swim felt he had to register and share some things. If it's ok here's the link.

Swim reccomends it if you're interested in learning the true use Ayahuasca. Swim's been researching human history for some time now and reckons he can explain a lot of your visions.

To cut a long story short his own personal experiences lead him on a journey of self exploration. This journey actually lead him to research all of the human creation texts from all of the world civilisations and what he found was incredible and only people on the same wavelength seem to understand and he stresses wavelength.

In your posts you all talk of pretty much the same thing although it may not seem it. If you are to understand you need to know what actually happened when "God" created man. It boils down like this. An Alien race destroyed civilisation on the Earth about 50,000 years ago and decided to create a new race from the DNA of humans and themselves to be their slaves. Now the result caused humans to be very smart but they never experienced the evil and violence of the Aliens before and it messed up their heads and wars happened. So they created the Adams and Eves and made them stupid so they'd be good and obedient worshippers but the first race came to Eden and freed them.

The serpent and the tree of life and knowledge isn't actually that, it refers to the double helix of DNA and how genes are the true key to existence. This explains the duality we all feel on these trips as the genetic memories and fears and psychiological effects are passed on through the DNA. Because they basically split our personalities when they genetically engineered us.

So the Aliens were pissed that we knew their secrets about Life and how they weren't actually gods and they tried to wipe us all out again with a flood but it didn't work. So instead of blatently dictating our rules they chose to do it subliminally and still do to this very day.

This universe is energy and every living thing experiences it consciousness on many levels. DNA is so complex and encoded that when we go on a trip we get a glimpse of it. Harmony with ones own energy and position in the universe is all that matters. They do not want us to know this and that is why drugs are banned. Drugs open up the doors they tried to close in our minds millenia ago.

Man swim hopes that came out right as he's tried to condense all his research as much as possible and to be universally understanable. He would urge you to read Genesis (which means Genes of Isis/Ishtar/Staue of Liberty) in the Bible again, or the Quran or The Popal Vuh or The Sumerian texts or any of the creation stories, but think of it from Aliens/Nephilim/Anu Naki taking over the world and manipulating our DNA point of view.
