different muscle relaxers

swim would to a poll but doesn't know how or maybe doesn't have the privelages. anyways the drugs that swim can buy are:

Soma (carisoprodrol)
Lioresel/Baclofen (baclofen)
Robaxin (Methocarbamol)
Zanaflex (Tinazidine)
Skelaxin (Metaxolone)
Toradol (Ketorolac)

there is many more swim can get bottles of but these seem to be the good ones.

appearantly Toradol is for is for short term (about 5 days) and is for moderate to sever pain. maybe that is the one to go for. anyways swim has access to all of these and is trying to figure out what to get. he is looking for definate pain relief (in his muscles) and just wants to relax, more like sedated (which his clonazepam does not do). swim would really appreaciate any direction on which of these to go with as far as sedation and musccle relaxation. thanks you. never mind on the toradol it is an NSAID

Re: different muscle relaxers

The Soma hands down. For swim, it is only the one with real noticeable effects that are recreational. Swim advises be careful with him, swim has seen people do some stupid shit on em. Driving, etc would be a bad idea on somas, for sure.

Re: different muscle relaxers

Swim was on Robaxin (Methocarbamol)
No recreational value, but it did help him with his back pain.

Been told that Methocarbamol combined with a opiate can be a good combination.

Re: different muscle relaxers

I received this medication from a friend because of my back pain. She said it would be very helpful, however I am under probation at the current time. I am curious to know if anyone is aware of how long or if the medication even does stay in the system.

Re: different muscle relaxers

I'm fairly sure none of the muscle relaxers mentioned can be detected by a standard drug test

Re: different muscle relaxers

norflex is actually half way decent. good for making opiates stronger. my dogs doc gave them to him along with percs and they were good. soma is top notch than swim says norflex.

RX420 added 1 Minutes and 17 Seconds later...

soma breaks down to an old school benzo doesn't it??? it might show up as a benzo on a drugtest but swim really have no idea.

Re: different muscle relaxers

^^^ Carisoprodol (soma) is metabolised to Meprobamate (I believe it used to be called "Miltown", back in the day), which is certainly NOT a benzodiazepine, but a carbamate derivative.

Rather astonishingly, in 1957 Meprobamate accounted for more than a third of all prescriptions in the US (36 million prescription!)

Indeed. I believe miltowns were referred to as "happy pills" in the 50's-60's.

Sorry about getting off topic for a minute..
