"Salvia"="Sage." There's any number of sage plants; Salvia divinorum is the only one that produces the effects usually known as "salvia" (the drug). The kind you ma has is best suited for making food taste good.

Should SWITF have the good fortune to come across something truly psychoactive in the future, you would do well to adhere to d-f's rules against self-incrimination, and use SWIM or equivalent.

She did not bring home a whole jar of psychoactive plant matter. Cooking sage Salvia officinalis is not Divinitory Sage S. divinorum.

And since you clearly didn't read the rules, it doesn't matter that it's legal where you live.

Now that this thread was created, did any fictional character try spicing a meal with S. Divinorum? Not chasing an effect, just to spice it.

It doesn't have a lot of flavour. Might be neat to include fresh leaves for a bitter note in a salad.
