TEK - Hydrocodone Syrup Extraction

CWE works great for tablets and such, but all Swim has at the moment is
syrup, and he's dying to find a way to get rid of that nasty APAP. Are there
any non-chemist friendly methods of extraction from syrup?

it's hydrocodone.... why would u want to extract it? sit back and take shots, not like having that whole bottle of hydrocodone as a powder is gonna be easier to deal with, ur just going to have to put 100s of mgs worth of powder into caps... not worth it IMO

Honestly? SWIMS never SEEN or heard of hydrocodone syrup with anything but pure hydro, no apap. Usually it's only hydro and guifenasen and the sugars/etc. No tylenol . ARE YOU SURE? SWIMS in the Med Profession and--never heard of it.

I also have a bottle of this stuff. Each 15 mL contains 7.5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg APAP. Just for the hell of it, I tried a CWE on a small amount. As I had expected, it was fruitless. The APAP is already in an aqueous solution. I don't know how to get it out.

SWIM has two empty bottles of such things. One is Tussionex Pennkinetic, the other is labeled Hydrocodone/Guaf 3.5/100MG. SWIM took around 25-30mg straight from the bottle back in the day and enjoyed a deliciously amazing high that lasted a good few hours. Never had any problems. If SWIY has one of these bottles, SWIM would say just go for it - CWE really isn't necessary. These are the only ones however that SWIM is confident about; she is not familiar with other types of hydrocodone syrups and good god if they say they have a lot of apap in them don't even bother.

This just terribly irrelevant advice. Neither one of those products contains APAP.

In order to get 30 mg of hydrocodone from a product that has 7.5 mg of hydrocodone and 500 mg APAP per 15 mL, one would also have to ingest 2000 mg of APAP. That is a really bad idea.

All the major hydrocodone syrup formulations in the US contain homatropine, an anti-cholinergic (see Hycodan, Hydromet, and Tussigon).
