Effects - Nausea and vomiting on GHB

It was swim's first time on ghb. He was given the doses by someone else so doesn't know how much was in it exactly but he downed it with orange juice. Swim had also done about half a gram of mdma during the night and drank 5 alcoholic drinks a few hours earlier. Swim said the first dose was nice but didn't feel very much, after the second dose an hour later swim started to feel a bit dreamy and was going off to different worlds with eyes closed. Swim was being greedy and even though he was mashed decided to take a third dose. Swim was told not to take anymore but didn't listen.

After the third dose he started to get really blurry vision and couldn't concentrate, could not speak or walk straight and kept bumping into things. Swim was sitting down and felt nauseaus for a few minutes, before he had the chance to run off to the garden swim felt the sick coming up with no warning and started puking. On the way to the garden swim kept puking very liquidy stuff but had to swallow some as he was still in the house and did not want sick anywhere. Swim told me it was a very disgusting experience and wonders if it happened to anyone else?

SWIM awoke abruptly once being uncontrollably sick after a long nights binge. He had taken a great deal of GHB, upwards from the 10g mark over a period of 4 hours or so, without the consumption of any other drugs. When I said he was being uncontrollably sick I mean that it just didn't stop coming out. He could have sworn that he hadn't eaten that much. Enough of the details though. SWIM isn't surprised that SWIY were being sick and wouldn't have thought that he has anything to worry about.

SWIM would highly recommend not taking GHB and alcohol at the same time, I wont go into details so please UTFSE (use the forum search engine).

reasons why SWIY could had this reaction:
food in the stomach: eat 3-4 hours before taking ghb
dosage: to high of a dose can make someone really sick or KO...
mixing: that is probably in SWIYS case the one that did the trick, mixing ghb with alcohol is a really dangeris combination... aside from that it can also cause vommiting.
SWIM also gets this while smoking pot and drinking ghb.. the mix gets the worst side of both drugs...

As said many other places, Alcohol + GHB/GBL = the sick (or possibly even the hospitalized and/or dead). So that's probably what did it to ya.

SWIM has had some nausea on g when mixed with n2o, or when mixed with methylone too. Also, it's been known to occur after a night of binging (i.e. 3 or more redoses extending the effects through 6-8 hours).

As others have said, mixing alcohol with gbl / ghb is never really a good idea unless swiy really knows what they are doing

Also, swim has read that the first few times swiy uses G they won't feel the full effects and often get quite sick, something about your body not knowing how to break it down.
SWIM definately found this to be the case, try it a few more times (with a smaller dose and no alcohol), it should be much more enjoyable

The title of the thread was actually 'losing gag reflex on ghb', SWIM knows that people can get sick on ghb but wonders if anyone actually lost their gag reflex?

The title was changed after I reviewed the original post and could not find any mention of an issue relating to losing one's gag reflex, only a discussion about nausea and vomiting.

GHB in high doses sure makes you puke. SWIY is lucky his body rejected any more G, cause things could have been worse.

Swim's freinds have been ill after Gbl/Ghb and only a couple of drinks of alcohol...

Also, swim finds that on high doses, he can't focus his eyes, and cannot read any small print, anyone else find this?
