When to add the cannabutter?

okay, so swim has a half-o of mid grade bud, and hes going to buy the butter and brownie mix tomorrow. swim wants to know ifBetty Crocker® Original Supreme Brownie is fine, even if it doesn't require butter. and if it does not, when should I add the butter.
