hydergine sideffects?

I read lotsof good stuff about Hydergine, yet I don't really trust it since it is related to Ergot, which, in my opinion, is quite dangerous and nothing to be especially fond off..
So, what are the actual, long-term (long term as in taking it long enough for it to work and continue it a bit, i.e. for study purposes) side effects? Are there any worth mentioning? From what i read most seem to be minor, but the Book I was reading was from the 90ies (well, considering Hydergine being discovered in the 40ies the information may well be correct?!).
