'Shelf-life' of dissolved MDMA
If SWIM was to dissolve a dose of MDMA crystals in water, how long could he keep this water mix in a sealed container?
Are there any issues of it degrading over time?

Storage of this substance is an interesting subject. Swim really can't give an exact answer here because it is very dependent on the purity of the crystals and the purity of the solvent(water is also a solvent).
Even tiny amounts of impurities might(or might not) become factors. Tap water i.e. is full of chemicals and organisms. He read the chlorine in particular is harmfull to amines.
Swiy just need to understand that this question is more complicated than what one might belive at first.
If swim had those crystals he would keep them in a airtight container with a fresh drying agent whitch were replaced every 6 months.

SWIM agrees that tap water is not ideal, and of course, distilled water is not a good thing to be consuming!
He was thinking of this dissolved storage idea as a way of being inconspicuous - rather than having paper sachets of crystals in his home.

Aha, well swiy can safely consume distilled water so no need to worry about that. It is only H2O after all.
This should not be a problem unless one was storing it for a long time.

It's harmful in large amounts without electrolytes in the form of minerals to balance it out. Small quantities with dissolved MDMA in them shouldn't pose a risk.

Re: 'Shelf-life' of dissolved MDMA
Physical properties
Pure MDMA is a white crystalline solid. When the crystals are too small to see it looks like a fine powder, but they are often large enough to sparkle and its possible to grow giant crystals up to a gram. The powder tends to stick to a dry finger but without forming lumps. It is chemically stable so that is does not decompose in air, light or heat - i.e. it has a long shelf life, unlike LSD.(141) It dissolves in water but does not absorb dampness from the air. MDMA has a distinct, strong and rather bitter, taste.
reference
since it's water soluble and the structure appears fairly stable (the aromatic, or 6 carbon ring, as well as the 5 C ring are resonance-stabilized, and the nitrogen atom is nicely occupied by methyl groups) it should be stable for a good while, my cat would guess a year or maybe two at the most.
